Six Rivers Solar

Tried to shop local and not online but then he just charged me 13 for a male and female clamp piece. Basically I paid $50 for something that is $10 and for $20 I could have just had all the tools and connectors. Will not do business with this guy again.

In 2018 we decided to install solar for our house. We contacted 5 different companies for estimates. Of all 5, Six Rivers were the worst. Their salesman who came out was very annoying, reminding me of a used car salesman. He didn't even get up on the roof to look at any installation issues or even measure the angle of the roof.

I had previously gone to their office to inquire about sunrooms and was really uninpressed with them, but figured I'd give them a chance on the solar.

We ended up with Green Wired and not only were they the cheapest bid, they came highly recommended by friends

I walked in with a question about solar batteries for my solar gate opener and to inquire about home solar. The old guy at the counter was so nasty I went to the interstate battery dealer and getting quotes from other companies outside of Eureka. And people wonder why businesses don't do well here.

Got solar system installed promptly and correctly. However problem with my wireless communication system not fixed. Been calling for four months and no call backs. Install rating- good. Service rating-lousy.

Six-Rivers Solar DOES NOT DO SOLAR! They only forcefully write contracts to take your money, and then contract out the work to the cheapest and worst installations I have ever seen, because I have 30-years experience of being a commercial electrician in the SF Bay Area and the contractors around here have no clue how to install this stuff...

This is the reason most people that have gotten a system from them are not happy at all with what they eneded up with, I've asked them...

All the 5-star ratings seen here seem to be fake news, this company has a poor rating if you dig deeper...

I’d been considering going solar but it took someone (Laura?) canvassing my neighborhood to motivate me into action. Miguel came to my home and patiently yet inspirationally explained the options available to me. It was not a hard sell. I had to contemplate all aspects of this with time and careful consideration; Six Rivers Solar even made me aware of a finance company who could offer me agreeable and competitive terms. Megan in the office provided patient support during this process. I made the commitment and am glad to have done so; the timing of the beginning of the work was a small miracle

Miguel was very nice and came over to get all my electric information. Then we set an appt so we could meet with my husband. Miguel's wife called to confirm the morning of the appointment, and Miguel did not show up and we have never received a call since then. Very disappointed!

They handled the application, setting up finance, installation, worked around our schedule as foster parents, and were available anytime we had a inkling of a question.
Miguel and Megan were two of the nicest and sweetest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and made the the whole experience not only possible- but enjoyable.
I recommend them to anyone that uses electricity/owns their home/wants to do efficiency renovations on your property.
These people will not let you down.

I was working with a wholesale distributor, and got a bid for them to provide a complete system. But they did not give any assistance with the permit application, or provide any training or on-site consulting.
Six Rivers matched their price, provided an even better system for the money, and then Gage prepared the permit application for no charge. The permit was promptly issued, and then Dan Johnson came out and helped us start the process of installing the array. Dan came out repeatedly over the next several weeks as we put the thing together, and was here when we turned it on, and interfaced

Although they did not install my system Dan has done an exceptional job of not only updating my system, but helped me to understand the advantages of the portal as well as repairing items that were not done correctly by the installer. I have several friends who have used 6 Rivers Solar and their customer service is outstanding not only to the customers they have done installs for, but also for the community of people who have had other installers go out of business after installing their system.

Got solar for my house in Arcata from Miguel. He was amazingly helpful and the amount of hustle he has is impressive! I had a bit of a hard time pinning down the contractor but Megan was super helpful when I needed the help and I couldn't have asked for better service! I really feel like I can count on this team of people and my energy bill and I thank them greatly!

Call these guys first! You can't beat their experience in the local community. They were able to design our 5kw Grid-tied system and install it onto our building in less than 2 months from start to finish! They walked us through the financing and cut our power bills in HALF!

Absolutely awesome staff Miguel, Megan, Dan and Mike delivered on everything they said they would!!!! I went from a $600 a month PG&E bill to putting money in my pocket. In spite of the weather installation was fairly quick...they explained and answered ALL of my questions even when I forgot I had already asked them. If you have a home and are even thinking about solar panels Six Rivers Solar is the ONLY way to go. And tell them Toya sent you!!!

I wouldn't even rate this one star! I have a leaky Solarium that I needed fixed so I called Six Rivers Solarium to see if they could fix it for me. The gal who answered the phone said that they don't do that anymore but RECOMMENDED Steve Tyson who works for them to do the job. Steve came out and said he would fix the leak, no problem. We decided to reseal the whole solarium since the old seal was cracking and may start leaking elsewhere. The next rain we had proved to show the leak was still there.... I contacted Steve to let him know and he said that he would come the following Wednesday. He never

Quick and easy process with Six Rivers. Informative and kind staff. Great products and options. They sub contract for the install, so your electrician can vary. Overall, very pleased with everything! Love our new solar power system. Thank you Megan and Miguel!

Unfriendly and uninformative service. Purchased 2 batteries for 1000 for a friend. They told me they were the correct batteries. Come to find out they were the wrong batteries. Tried to return them and I had to wait three days for the owner to write me a refund check after I paid in cash. Was treated poorly with little respect
