Our heater was only blowing cold air. They came out through our home warranty. At first it was okay, they came out and made a repair. Then two weeks later the heater started acting up again. I called the home warranty company again and they told me the vendor would reach out within 24 hours. They didn't reach out. My husband tried to call. No return call. It was around Christmas so we waited TEN DAYS to hear back from them. On the 11th day I called and left another voicemail. My AC went out at the end of May, while the heat wasn't so bad. MMy warranty company sent this company out. Originally I was very pleased when the tech showed up and looked at my AC. He took a look and said that the entire system needed replaced, the pipes and inside blower also needed to be replaced. He would submit everything to the warranty company and when the new AC came in they would install the new system. IT ENDED THERE.

My home warranty hooked me up with Hug and I won't lie I was a little nervous about them when just reading reviews. We got connected to them on Friday of Easter weekend and they called Saturday to set up a time. Even though they were busy they called the next day and arranged to come Tuesday. Thankfully we had an issue that could wait that long. Dan and his son came and were very professional. I appreciated his honesty and promptness of fixing our issue and he even helped explain things to me and fixed a small issue with my sink (the original issue was my tub). I was set up with Hug PH&C through my home warranty company a couple of weeks ago to service my central heating system. Hug contacted me and set up an appointment last week. The person who called said he would be there "after 12", but gave no window of time. I waited until 6pm and the technician never showed. I then called several numbers listed for Hug before someone picked up. I contacted Old Republic our Home warranty company about my air conditioner not working. The next morning i received a call form Hug and they said they would be out that afternoon. Which is pretty unbelievable because we were experiencing 104 temperatures and i am sure they were very busy. They arrived and had it fixed in about 15 minutes. Incredible customer service. I cant thank you enough for getting it fixed so fast.

My mom is 86. She recently purchased a home in Vacaville. Her Heating system which is placed in the garage, was primarily heating the garage and not the house due to leaks, issues, whatever. My mom contacted her home warranty contract people and they sent out someone from a different air and heating repair company. Our furnace went out the week before Thanksgiving, and after a bad experience with a different company, we called our home warranty company who sent us Hug Plumbing. They came the next day, which was great for us, since we had been without heat for days. I think the technician who came was Mark, who was terrific. We told him the problem and what we had tried already. He did some logical troubleshooting and within 15 or 20 minutes fixed our furnace. We were extremely happy.

Unreliable. They accepted a work order from my home warranty provider and never bothered to call me to set an appointment. I called them several times, over several days and when I finally got a hold of somebody they said they had my work order and would get back to me. They never did. They have delayed the repair on my heating system. Awful customer service, they should at least have the courtesy to let customers know they cannot take a job so they can locate another technician asap.

We had another company come to do a "tune-up" of our a/c system. They said there was ice building up on the pipes from the furnace and there may be a leak. I realized I still have the home warranty so I called them and they sent out Dave from Hug instead.
Dave looked at the ice build up and said our a/c unit is not design well to be split between upstairs and downstairs. It will always freeze up unless we take out one of the thermostats and clear some of the flaps of the ducts.
