Apex Fence Builders did an A1 job on our fence! We needed a privacy fence for a new patio area. Kevin came in with great ideas I had never imagined and the end result was amazing. Great consultation, a free estimate, competitive pricing and the job was completed on time. I even got a follow up call to see if I was completely satisfied.

I always refer Apex Fence Builders to anyone near Raleigh who asks about a fence! In my opinion, Wood fencing is the best way to go. A well built wood fence has a natural look, can circumvent obstacles and there are many more options to chose from. After your wood fence has dried (from the treatment process) I suggest a good water sealer with a built in UV protectant and a fungicide.

This will ad years to your fencing and is a cheaper option than stain. You can expect your wood fencing to last about 20 years with occasional maintenance. I know of fencing I built 18 years ago that, although weathered, Still looks great. Wood Fencing has many options and picket sizes: 6' privacy fence with a dogear picket, arched top, scalloped top, Pointed picket or capped with a 2x4.

Kevin with Apex Fence Builders did an excellent job with our fence. He was very friendly, very affordable and the quality of work was 2nd to none. This is a hard working company! Kevin really takes pride in his work and he helped go over the different options with us on day one without making us feel rushed on our decision. We have a pretty big property and every foot of the fence he built looks amazing. He is very easy to work with and we absolutely love our fence! We would recommend this company to anyone and already have to family and friends. We are planning on doing another project out front

I suggest this guy. He actually owns his company and either does the work himself of has guys working under him (that he supervises do it). He did a great job on our fence. The other places I called seemed to be big companies and since we needed some repair work done to an existing fence, as well as new fencing, I needed to work with one person, i.e. I didn't trust that my instructions were going to be correctly passed from salesman, to office people, to workers, etc.

My husband arranged with Kevin to have our small townhouse back area fenced. He seemed really nice when arranging the job but totally screwed us over. We recently moved from FL and he would not accept an out of town check so we got $750 in money orders and addressed them to him. He took them and couldn't figure out how to deposit them (?!?!?) so returned them to us and said he wouldn't do the job. I am OK with him not being willing to do a small job but now we have $750 in worthless money orders that we won't get refunded for at least $30 days and will have to pay a fee. Horrible businessman.

I am so glad I decided to go with AFB for my new fence. Kevin offered to do the work for about 20% less than the other estimate I had. I am very pleased with the finished product as well. Would recommend.
