GCG grew out of a custom home building company that expanded with its clientele to include not only custom ground-up construction, but home additions, renovations, repairs and remodeling. Ron Lester grew up in construction in Richmond, VA with his grandfather and father in commercial and residential contracting. He started building homes in Richmond, VA and Baltimore, MD in the early 90's. After moving to Marietta, GA in 1997, he continued building homes for Wilmont Williams. Learning a great deal from the Williamscraft family, Ron started his own custom home building company in 2006.

We hired Georgia Contractor Group after having them come look at our space and provide an amazing vision for what we wanted in a finished basement. We were under a time constraint as well as a budget and they worked very well with both.
