This company took advantage of an elderly person (85). Customer service is an absolute joke. The elderly person I speak of has Alzheimer's and had to be moved to a facility. Person doesn't even have the house any longer and they still wouldn't let her out of the contract. Total waste of money. The system NEVER worked correctly right from the beginning. Do not use this company you will regret it.

I would not recommend safe home security to my worst enemy. We had them in CT and our contract was only 2yrs, we move to SC and they set our contract for 5 yrs. If we could have cancelled before we moved we would have but we still had time left on our contract. They never let us know they were extending it to 5yrs. Now we call up to see if we can add more sensors and they want to charge us over $200 plus another $7 something a month and then extend our contract another 3yrs. NO WAY!!! I will go elsewhere when my contract is up. This company is a rip off. There are other alarm companies that

If there was an option for zero stars I would do it. Totally agree with KK W and others. Where to start. My mother-in-law "won" a security system a few years ago. She passed away on Dec 18th of last year. I've done everything that a representative required of me (letting them know to cancel service, send in the death certificate) and now I'm getting the run around from the cancellation department and their "manager" (since they still charged the monthly fee in Jan and Feb). It's their policy to have a 30-day cancellation letter and a death certificate. Of course

I had Safe Home Security of the Carolina's located on Latrobe Drive in Charlotte, NC. install a system in my house. Never a late payment. I even called and had my other home set up. By that time, Safe Home Security began operating under a different name, Security Force out of Raleigh. I had a three year contract with them as well.
