My experience wasn't as smooth as the others. There are sizeable gaps (between the wall and counter) in many areas that cannot be neatly resolved with caulking. I have had to make substantial design changes to minimize gaps in some areas. Additionally, some counters were sealed with caulk and others not. The team and owner are nice to work with and responsive, but the quality of fabrication and details were lacking in my experience. Considering the large size of my project, I did not receive the quality assurance as expected.

On my first day of shopping I was just browsing for colors and patterns, but because I came in with my own quick measurements, Chad was able to quickly give me an estimate. It was awesome that their displayed prices included installation and tax, and then Chad was able to tell me how much stone they would buy back from me based on the sizes I needed. Just wanted to thank you for an awesome process/product once again. This was the second time we’ve hired the Granite Guy (2 separate homes, 5 years apart) and it’s been an amazing experience each time. From the sales process (Chad) to the measurement (Joe) to the install (Anthony, Don and crew), it went off without a hitch. Nice, courteous and efficient crew and beautiful end result. Best part, we were a little worried that we may lose some of the backsplash tile in the demo process, but there wasn’t even one scratch to be found. Truly a professional business. I worked for the granite guy for 3 years before deciding to start my own business. I just wanted to take a second to tell everyone about my experience with them for those 3 years. Was referred to The Granite Guy by Alter Kraft Interior Renovations for counter tops. Great experience from beginning to end. No pushy sales. I selected the slab, paid the deposit, measurements and installation was scheduled at that time. Both appointments were on time. I would suggest for anyone to be there at time of measurements. Any questions you have or details you want will be covered at the measurement appointment. When the install crew showed up they were on time, clean, professional and went right to work. Just had our Granite from The Granite Guy installed. Gary, searched high and low for the perfect piece and knocked my wife's sucks off. From measuring to install it was a two week turn around. My wife talked often with, Chrissy helping us through the process and she was great to work with.
