We typically take on 12-15 projects per year ranging from floor plan remodels to additions and renovations through to custom new construction homes. We do not purchase property; we do not have any houses available for sale. All of our homes are custom designed and built for our clients. For clients looking for land, we are happy to guide you through the process.
Design/Build is a collaborative, one-stop-shop approach to the construction process. Design/Build syncs creative design with the physical build, creating a single discipline that does it all - program development, architectural plans, concept renderings and actual construction - under one roof and customized to any size project.

We chose Mike and Ellie (Michael Robert Construction and Ellie Mroz Design) to build and design our home not only because of their impeccable taste and attention to every detail, but because they joined us on our homebuilding journey. Building a home from the ground up is both exciting and stressful all at the same time. My husband and I went through a lengthy process with our architect (Forefront Designs), doing our research on the different contractors out there (and there are a lot!), and then the bidding process on our kitchen & family room addition/renovation, as well as a mudroom and new basement. This was the first time that we ever did an extensive project such as this. MRC completed a remodel of our house earlier this year. The project was challenging for a number of reasons, not least of which was supply chain disruptions and work restrictions resulting from COVID lockdowns. MRC managed these hurdles very well, and completed the work with minimal delay. Mike adds a lot of value to subtle design elements and overall the craftsmanship and attention to detail are outstanding. I'm very glad we worked with them.

My wife and I worked with Michael Roberts Construction (MRC) and Ellie Mroz Designs (EMD) to build and design our new home. Michael Robert Construction helped us turn a challenging time in our lives into a positive experience. Our project was not traditional. We were only six months into owning our first home when a massive tree fell on it, making the home uninhabitable and requiring significant repairs.
