Could not be happier with the fantastic work done by Mark! Hardwood floors throughout, stair landings and stairways, porcelain tile in bathroom, it was all done with complete dedication to excellence and pride in his work. He really went the extra mile and has many clever tricks-of-the-trade in his bag to make a wonderful job even better. Mark did an amazing job on my curved staircase. He hand built the curved stairs and added his artistic touch by adding an accent piece on each step. It is truly a work of art! We were so pleased with his work that we decided to have him replace the carpet in our office with hardwood. My husband and I highly recommend Mark.

Mark Emsbach the owner of Above & Beyond Flooring is a true master craftsman!! I have worked with Mark in 3 of my houses. In the last 15 years Mark has installed hand-scraped cherry inset in hickory in my first home in Denver and distressed pine in my mountain home. Mark recently installed organic hickory floors, knotty alder doors, and a beautiful modern stair rail with wire cables and a wood top in my newly remodeled home. You will be so fortunate to work with Mark! I've hired him twice to install hardwood flooring in my home. The first time he did added a significant amount of hardwood to the first floor of my home and my curving staircase. He blended it imperceptibly with the existing floors and the craftsmanship on the staircase is truly first rate! He is so easy to work with, does everything he can to minimize the impact to your daily life, and cleans up each night. Any concerns we had, he immediately addressed to our delight. He is fantastic! Mark did a refinish on our kitchen and entry way floors. He also installed and finished hardwood in our family room. What a fantastic job he did. We could not be more happy with the results!
