The first rental house that Philip moved into on Orcas Island was without a washer and dryer, and a solution needed to be determined to resolve laundering woes for Philip and his family of five - (soon to be six.)Philip found a temporary solution, located used machines that required repair, fixed the machines, found a temporary installation location, and got to work.
Appliances make the rest of our lives work better together. This became a passion to resolving troubles that islanders had in finding a handyman to service their appliances for continued service. Philip would gladly provide his neighbors with solutions to the problems to save a service call if it could be resolved with some simple sleuthing and they were game to look into some of the details surrounding the situation.
