Determined to maintain the structures of Mitchell, Steve Otterby and Larry Titze launched a dream in 1979. To ensure top quality service, Steve and Larry insisted on actively being involved in the day-to-day operations of both the agricultural and commercial construction divisions. For over 35 years, they have built strong relationships with their customers.
Palace Builders, Inc. offers full Service, design-build general contracting for commercial, manufacturing, industrial, mini-storage, and Ag systems. Palace Builders, along with their own erection crews, employs established Sub-contractors, many who have been associated with the company for years. Palace Builders is a design build contractor that offers Butler pre-engineered building and Brock grain systems.
Steve graduated from South Dakota State University in 1972 with a BS degree in Agricultural Engineering. Gaining a background for the construction industry both commercial buildings and farm buildings, Steve's responsibilities included Ag engineering and sales. In 1979 he moved to Mitchell, SD and founded Palace Builders, Inc. with partner Larry Titze.
