Matt Collins, founder of Denver's Handyman Services, is originally from New Zealand and has over 19 years of experience in the construction field. Matt moved to the USA in 2007 and worked with a large number of contractors in Florida, making the move to Denver, with his family, in 2013. Matt is a certified member of interNACHI, one of the world's largest and most respected home inspector associations.
Denver's Handyman Services has completed many restaurant projects over the past year, ranging from facelifts, to new image layouts, to basic repairs of tiles, laminate and light fixtures. We can schedule your remodel or repairs around your restaurant hours so that customers don't experience construction and you don't lose any customers because of it.
If you and your client are buying or selling a home, sometimes certain areas of that home will need to be remodeled to get the best return on investment and best sales price. I thought I knew what bad customer service was and then I decided to have this company remodel my rental unit. Worst decision ever! My project was delayed several times because of their incompetence. They sub out all their work. They upcharge on materials just because they are the ones purchasing them and delivering them to your house - seriously? Just pass the charges along. I had to check their subcontractors work (as opposed to their project manager) and it was not the best, and had to tell them 3 and 4 times to return to fix things that were not done properly. They blamed their poor floor installation

Matt and Brian went above and beyond and I can't thank them enough! My HOA was a huge pain to deal with and any other company would've probably walked away many times. I can imagine how busy they are right now after the pandemic, but they were very patient and delivered such a high quality work that I was amazed. My balcony looks beautiful now! They are definitely the best deal in town as I called many other companies and none come even close to what they offer in terms of price, value and customer service. They came up with the best solution and also explained everything in detail. I already recommended

I used Denver’s Handyman Services after someone recommended them on Next Door. Right from the initial quote with Steve, I was happy with the level of professionalism and response. Casey replaced pipe fittings, sink, and vanity in my bathroom, and his level of detail and quality work was awesome! Everyone at the company was friendly and easy to work with. I’m very happy with the outcome and will definitely use them again!

We used Denver Handyman Services to reattach a light fixture after it started to fall from our ceiling. The work was stellar, quick, and explained well. The staff was incredible to work with, personable, and offered extra advice on other projects.
We had some trouble with the invoice matching the actual scope of work completed. As a result, I spoke with the owner, Matt Collins, post-completion to sort everything. He and I had a fantastic conversation which ended with a more than fair price. Probably not fair for Matt, to be honest. Yet he was nothing but happy to be fixing/adjusting protocols

So, we called this "company" for one of our client's, for an estimate. They had scheduled an appt to come out and their guy decides to call rather than come out because he's been, "Doing this so long that he can an estimate by phone". So, he does and, it takes them extended time follow-up calls to remind them we await their estimate before they provide an estimate for a job we advised was a rush. They scheduled an appt, took a deposit, were no show, calling when they were suppose to be at the appt...the old, "family emergency" In addition, we had other contractors appt on the same day as they were

Great team! They came out to hang acoustic panels in our Denver conference room and did a great job. The only issue was that they're booked solid and we had to get this done asap. I was really happy with this project as it was coming together. The tide turned once he left and I arrived home on the final day.
Two days later and we are still fully realizing the extent of and cleaning up the mess from our fireplace remodel, despite the fact we provided a large drop cloth and there was access to a kitchen sink *less* than 10 feet away.
Our dark hardwood floors, which are less than two years old, have grout splatters everywhere and ground-in dust all over them. Debris and trash was not collected whatsoever. We have pets that cannot be exposed to these materials. In addition
