When you come into Granny's Kitchen you are not just eating at one of the best breakfast joints in Oklahoma, but you are biting into some rich history. You may think that Granny's Kitchen has only been part of the Stillwater community for the past few years, and it may come as a surprise to find out that though the name has changed the location, family, and flavors date back to 1945.

I've only been here twice! The first time, my friends and I arrived at 8:30 am and everything was perfect, both food and coffee. I ordered the Florentine Eggs Benedict breakfast with cottage cheese and it was delicious. The only downside was when the waitress brought us the check a bit quickly. My second visit was with my husband and brother since they had never been to this restaurant. We arrived around 10:30 am and the waitress was friendly and she helped us with everything we asked for. The food was perfect like my previous visit except for the coffee. We generally like coffee without creams

It was very busy. However it was a home game day for OSU. The wait for a party of 2 was quoted for 20 minutes. It only took 10 minutes. The staff all was wearing mask and very friendly. I ordered an omelet that that came with my choice of hash browns, fried country potatoes, fruit or cottage cheese. Also you got a choice of pancakes, bread or fresh toast. I choose cottage cheese and pancakes. I paid to upgrade them to the pumpkin pie cakes. They are to die for. Loved them with whip cream. Hubby got the hog. It is basically biscuits and gravy on steroids. I will be going back here. They have 2 locations

Found this place on a Google search while returning from a trip. Had no idea that it was this good. Most items are made at the restaurant, hand breaded chicken fried chicken, corn that was grilled somehow, hand breaded chi Ken fried steak, mashed potatoes with a special ingredient, made from scratch meatloaf. Servings were very large. All amazing. Service was terrific.

This was our first time here. Cute little place! I love the fact that Granny has a breakfast place with a bar. Lol too funny to imagine your Granny running a bar!! Lol
Anyway, our waiter Odi (sorry I can't remember how it was spelled) was fantastic! He engageed with us and was very knowledgeable about the menu. He asked why it was our first time there and then brought us a complimentary gigantic cinnamon roll to try as our food was being made. He was very attentive and always made sure our drinks were full. By the time our food arrived, I realized I should have ordered from the kids menu. Lol

Stopped here after passing through and it does have a wait time on the weekends but everyone says it’s worth it, average wait time is about 20-35 minutes give or take.
After seated which we was in the basement area (pretty kewl) our waitress promptly greeted us to take our beverage order. Wife usual, coffee and me OJ which came in the Granny’s Kitchen plastic souvenir cup. Wife had the Cowboy skillet and substituted the home fries for hash browns. Add gravy to this and it’s delicious. I had the pig biscuit and should’ve got the smaller version its 3 big biscuits with diced bacon, ham and

This place was really big in size. If it looks packed out side be aware you might not have to long await to be seated. We had a nice little table down in the basement. The whole staff is very friendly. Me and my husband got the Cowboy Omelet with hashbrowns and biscuits with gravy. It was so good. And the biscuits tastes like they were made from scratch. We will be back to try more on the menu.
