If less than 1 star I will give them. Don't be fooled by The Best of LI award they had on their website or the other positive reviews as I did. Worst customer service ever I experienced with a business, waiting more than a month for the installation sales manager to call me with a quote on material and installation price and date and they never called despite me calling them about 4 times already during this month (I called once a week) asking for that quote and at the end I asked to speak with the owner to let him know how his employees handling and losing a new customer but Christine in customer

Truly an amazing company... from the initial phone call to installation the company maintains a high standard of customer service that is very rare to find. Through out the process every call or question that I had was answered quickly. Installation was scheduled in a matter of a few days and the personnel that arrived were highly skilled, professional and went above any expectation that I had. I just had a fence installed by Wayside Fence Company. It's the second time I've used them and was extremely satisfied. They are professional and very hard workers. They came and measured. Was quoted one price by "Al" on the phone for rolls of 6' 2" 9GA Galvanized Chain Link. I was buying 4 rolls.
Drove all the way down there and when I arrived they refused to honor the price quote.
I repeated the specs and "Al" repeated the specs back to me SEVERAL TIMES! I thought it odd that he kept repeating or asking me to repeat the specs over and over again.
What a WASTE OF MY TIME!!!

We had an excellent experience with Wayside Fence. We were in process of purchasing a house with a pool and needed a fence around it as soon we moved in as we have three small children. We scheduled the installation but had problems with our closing and had to reschedule. They were very accommodating at very short notice and installed our beautiful fence in one day. The fence looks great and the installers did a great job. Highly recommend.

From the sales stage to installation, Wayside Fence was excellent! They showed up on time, completed the job as expected, and I found them to be very competitive and fair throughout the entire transaction! Even though my house was located 1 1/2 hours away on Shelter Island and some parts were missing during their first trip, their installation team came back within days and they implemented everything exactly as discussed during the sales stage. No surprises...no hidden costs...and professional quality and work from beginning to end.
