The New Roads Housing Authority project consists of the creation of a new Early Learning Center. The new facility will be used as a place for children to get additional tutoring from volunteers.
The project is a new take on an outdoor urban park which utilizes shipping containers to create the open interior space and create the backdrop for the exterior spaces. Utilizing shipping containers in the design gives an industrial feel while still maintaining the human scale.

With over 19 years of architectural experience in a broad variety of building types such as commercial, multi-family, education, residential and historic restoration. Stout Architecture has the knowledge and experience to help bring your project from initial conception, budgeting design and thru construction.
This project consisted of the renovation of the interior, exterior and the addition of a new porte-cochere. The original building was built in the 90's and the owners wanted to be update the appearance and make some repairs. The materials and finishes selected give the building a more welcoming feel and will hold up to the daily traffic.
