A Chester County native, Daphne has been a hands-on construction helper and re modeler since a child. Her father built their family home, and Daphne and her siblings were right there, hammer and nails in hand. I can remember when I was little I would always move things in my bedroom and around the house, loved to pick flowers and arrange them in glasses.
I would make things out of just about anything you could think of. But really what shaped me into becoming a designer was growing up with a father that was always building or painting. He built our family home while I was growing up.

Services
Initial consultations consist of viewing the space or spaces you desire to decorate. We will discuss your goals for the rooms, use of existing furnishings and accessories where possible. Notes will be taken of existing furnishings, fabrics, wall color, etc. in which you wish to work with. Also making suggestions during the viewing process, and taking digital pictures if necessary.
7/16 inch and 3/4 inch cell as well as double cell styles are available. Top down and or bottom up and day-night shades are some privacy and light shading options. Multiple blinds on one head rail are also available. Translucent fabrics that soften and filter light are standard, blackout material which blocks 99% of sun light is also an option.

Daphne and her crew did an outstanding job on our kitchen cabinets. They were in and out quickly and their work area was spotless when the left. Daphne’s eye for color is spectacular! We have a difficult counter top to match color, but she was able to see what looks best and suggest a wall paint color to pull it all together! I highly recommend Design by Daphne!

Daphne and her crew are AWESOME!!!!!! I hired them to paint my kitchen and bathroom cabinets and from the very start to the very end...they were fantastic to work with and did an OUTSTANDING job!! I am so so pleased with how the cabinets turned out...they gave me my dream kitchen. They were extremely professional, courteous, polite and very detailed about their work. They kept to budget and to the timeline. Daphne even made suggestions along the way of things she could do to enhance the look of the cabinets. They left a care kit for me too complete with touch up paint and care instructions. Design

Daphne not only did a FABULOUS job on our kitchen cabinets, she also helped get us started on a total redo of our kitchen, family room, and office. She reviewed our colors and plans which gave us the confidence to begin the journey that resulted in a beautiful new first floor! Thanks to Daphne and Amanda!

My friend was trying to sell her home with oak kitchen cabinets and she had a hard time selling her home. So she had Daphne and Sam redo her kitchen cabinets to Antique white /Distressed. When I saw them I knew I had to have my kitchen cabinets done. But , I didn’t stop there , she did both bathroom cabinets to match in the house . I had paid another painter to paint my kitchen chairs white . However, they didn’t do a very good job so I had Daphne to do them turquoise blue . The whole job was done in 2 days and I am very pleased . I highly recommend Design By Daphne.
