I had these guys come to complete a project at my home. They were very professional and prompt. I spoke to a representative at the company every day and told in great detail as to what was happening. It's never an easy task to find contractors that work well with you and with your insurance. I started to work with Juan after a leak caused some major damage in our home. All I can say is just how impressed I am with the way he and the company managed out repair. The project was extensive as we needed new flooring, including two sets of stairs. Things went downhill from 09/2019..The job was never complete and we were left with a broken floor and many unfinished electrical outlets. In the meantime they let their license to work on manufactured homes expire and still made us pay them for most of the job, some of which was done incorrectly. Anyway..be aware.

By far the worst company I have ever had to deal with . Way to much to go into detail in short lied to ,nails and razors left in driveway, dirty mask left in house just the worst experience. I would never use them again nor would I recommend anyone else use them.

My house got water damage july 3rd and I called jj construction company and they came out right away and got rid of the wall and flooring to make sure there wasn’t mold and then they replaced the wall and floors and our bathroom vanity’s when they came out I asked how long would the whole process be they said two months at the most. They came to fix a 1 hour leak from a washing machine. The downstairs unit heard water running all night after they left, in his video you can hear it. No signs of mold to either unit. Time to lawyer up. This is the second unit in my complex they did this to. They will pay plenty.

In a word: untrustworthy.
I'd never recommend them to anyone.
I had a plumbing issue and the plumber called them because the leak had caused some water damage.
They said they'd contact my insurance and get their approval to do work. Then they proceed to tear my wall open and leave it that way for several days during the middle of Vegas summer.
After day 2 of this, I call my insurance to find out they never approved the work and had no awareness of what was happening.
J&Js communication to me largely considered of the sales guy repeating over and over to me "this is standard

If you have unlimited time to take off work and wait around, these might be the contractors for you. If (like us) you don't have multiple days to spend waiting for someone to show up while they no-call no-show, I would advise you DON'T hire them. (The job is under my husband, Nick's name, but now they're pretending they have no record of us. Lol.)

As time has gone on I have really been able to notice the work that was done by them and everyday I'm just a little more disappointed that I paid what I did for what I got.
There are scratched tiles, tiles with chips in them, very poor job with the grouting in almost every area.
Tiles were placed on the walls where you can see serial numbers and bar codes..... I'm honestly embarrassed to show anyone my bathroom.
The 3 rd time they came out to caulk around the shower has at least held for the last 9 months - no water leakage yet - but it looks like the caulking won't last another

Worst experience ever!! J&J Contracting LLC rebuilt my shower without PERMITS! They received a citation from the NV Contractors Board on 6/29/2021. The Building department failed the final inspection now the shower and walls have to be torn down and redone!! Hard to believe they're licensed, I paid them $10,000 for nothing! Javier Ibarra tried to put a fake mechanic lien against my property and than backed out 2 hours before trial. Case dismissed without prejudice and removed the lien! He thought he could take advantage because we're seniors, well he thought wrong!!

I was referred to this company by 702 Plumbing. I had two general contractors working with me throughout the 5 months my claim was open. They made life very inconvenient for me, cancelling or rescheduling last minute and leaving industrial materials around my home where my 5 year old got hurt walking in and out of our bedroom.
Thanks to one individual, Miguel, I was able to have my issue cured. A gem of an employee. Even still, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Great company! After having a massive water leak around my kitchen, Mike McConnell took great care of our house and made sure everything gets back to normal due to a massive water damaged. My wife and I were glad we finalized our decision on choosing J&J Contracting.
Mike assembled a team that are extremely solid, hard workers, respectful and will do above and beyond.
Carlos their Field Supervisor has great attitude and very approachable. He made sure everything was organized and properly done. Extremely professional.

Do NOT HIRE this company. I was recovering from cancer and had to go into a hot due to asbestos in the walls. I gave this company the key to my house and they put a lock box on my door and subsequently robbed me of 4k worth of items their workers packed up and put into my garage for the renovation. It wasn't until months later, because they took so long and didn't sue the work correctly that I discovered everything missing from my kitchen except some pan lids and drinking glasses. As you can see from the picture, they even smashed the dishwasher into the cabinet area of a large kitchen

J&J Contracting is in the process of remodeling the master bathroom and I wanted to write a quick review of the process so far. All workers showed up on time, covered and protected my floors, were respectful and polite beyond my expectations, and they cleaned up at the end of every day. The different crews I had working on my bathroom were amazing and their fearless leader Carlos was a joy to work with. He has super powers! I will write another review when the job is complete. Thus far I could not be happier. I highly recommend this company.

I had a bathroom leak in my master bathroom, hired J & J for the repairs - I'm very happy with the work. I decided to have my kitchen floors and second bathroom done at the same time. The J & J team were very nice and always responded to my calls and answered all of my questions. They showed up when they said they would and when I had concerns they were addressed immediately. I had a leak that a water restoration company took a look at and then recommended J&J. The water restoration company had me give J&J on the 3rd of February. The water restoration company was completely done with their part by the 5th of February. Why it took J&J until March 4th to get here is beyond me. I made sure to tell them multiple times I don't have access to my kitchen and would love to be on schedule asap. After not hearing a word from them for a week I'm told that they FORGOT to submit to insurance and it will be at least 2 more weeks. After many attempts to get in contact with them and

J&J Contracting did work on my home in 2015 after a broken pipe flooded it while I was at my summer home, 2,000 miles away. At that time they were subcontracting for another company. They did an excellent job back then, and this week, after I had a water heater leak that damaged a corner of the garage and the wall it shared with the spare bedroom inside, I was fortunate enough to get them back. If you're house ever floods or is damaged and you file a claim with your insurance just be your own general contractor. You can do it. It's not that hard. I hired these guys because I was desperate to get my house back together the morning after a flood. Worst hire of my life.
Be aware that if your homeowners insurance is paying for repairs on your house they allow the general contractor to charge 10% profit and 10% overhead on what they estimate the cost of the repair will be. This is the law. In my case what was frustrating is that J and J Construction was so difficult to work with

After a botched bathroom remodel by a handyman that lead to 2 damaging water leaks, I met with Juan Ibarra from J&J Contracting to repair my house. He was extremely professional and took his time with me explaining the whole process.
My project manager Carlos, was so patient with me as I had so many questions and would text him often. He made the whole process very organized and the results were fantastic. The workers were always on-time and they presented themselves very professional.

I should have posted this review a long time ago, but as I was just relieved to finally be back in my home in Oct. 2019, I am only getting to it now. As a Las Vegas local (and a black woman) I have never experienced the disrespect and shadiness from a company that J&J Contracting displayed.

I am currently in the process of restoration being done by J&J. I usually wait til service is complete before writing a review. I will write one when they are done as well. I am so pleased thus far with the quality and professionalism. The workmen are on time and most considerate. No one wants to have their home damaged. It can be very stressful. Its nice to have the companies make things easy for you. Quick Dry did the initial inspection and drying out work. They were wonderful as well!!!

This company is very organized and they helped me out as fast as they could and I think everything turned out great. Liz was very helpful and responded fast through emails and phone calls. Bobby was also helpful and friendly when coming to the site and assuring me of what exactly they were going to repair and how they were going to do it. The two workers were fast and I think they did a good job overall. I will be doing other projects to my house and will be a returning customer.
