Self owned operation, with men working with us for over 25 years. Our customers are always happy and call us back for other projects. Construction has been part of my family for generations. Since I was a young boy I worked with my father who made construction a career. My father taught me that hard work and dedication are two of the most important things in having a long, successful career. In the late 1970's my father was finally able to retire.

A-1 is exactly what their names says: “ A-1”. Perhaps I would add “A-1 All the way !!!” They performed a very difficult repair of our 2 story high deck by replacing an approximate 850 pound 24 foot supporting beam. The job was done with engineering excellence. We couldn’t be happier with the result.

We are delighted with our new deck built by A-1 Quality Decks. Tom, the owner was not only friendly, helpful, and competent, he was dependable. His crew started when he said they would and finished before we even expected. They were hard working, skilled, and courteous. Throughout the process, Tom communicated continuously with us making great suggestions along the way. He even completed the lighting and finishing touches on Labor Day.

We are so thrilled with our beautiful deck. I’m a super-perfectionist, control freak yet Tom said I was a pleasure to work for! You know why? Because Tom made everything perfect on his own, I didn’t have to micromanageu anything. He was in constant contact with us throughout the project, he responds to emails and texts right away. His work is immaculate. I thought Tom was the owner/salesman, which he is, but he’s also the guy out back digging 2 foot trenches in 100 degree heat. His work is meticulous and the result exceeded all our expectations.

Me and my wife had needed my master bathroom remodeled and my neighbor gave Tom from A1's number. He came out spent the time to go over what we were looking for. Not every contractor gives you that kind of time and attention! Me and my wife decided to go with Tom and he did an excellent job I didn't have to do a thing with the attention to detail that was wonderful. He has become my contractor and will not be using anybody else so I would def recommend him.
