We're not the biggest solar company in the Pioneer Valley, but we have a huge heart. Northeast Solar is committed to serving 100% local and independent clients. We support some of the area's most dynamic non-profits whose work supports and sustains the community. We've partnered with PhippenAdams LLC, a non-profit solar initiative that brings solar to organizations working to build stronger communities over Western MA.
You probably drive by our solar installations everyday, but there is much more to Northeast Solar than what you see on your neighbor's roof. We work under the roof as well, from general electrical contracting to mini-split installations and off-grid, backup battery systems that keep your home up and running should the grid go down.

We love our solar, and Northeast Solar had been a great partner through the whole process. They helped us identify the best incentives and financing to make our system affordable, and didn't let nasty weather get in their way or slow then down during installation. Most impressively, they've been a phenomenal resource since the system went live. They really take care of their customers after the fact, helping us navigate our SRECs and reporting changes. 5 stars!

I chose Northeast Solar to install panels on my house a few years ago after looking into several companies. They were then, and continue to be, professional, responsible, and helpful to my understanding of the process providing me with options that allowed me to make an informed decision that was best for me. Those qualities have continued through the years as they held a presentation for a new product they were offering (battery storage) and most recently, in helping me to convert my production tracking from an outdated cell network to WiFi. One of the best decisions we ever made concerning our home was having Northeast Solar install solar panels on our house. From the very first visit we found the staff to be helpful and easy to work with. The site review was obviously well done because our electric bills since the installation have been zero. The installation itself was done efficiently and the cleanup was meticulous. This was about seven years ago. Over the years Northeast Solar has monitored our system and they have resolved all problems efficiently and quickly. We highly recommend Northeast Solar.

I was referred to Northeast Solar by a co-worker on a good recommendation, and they sure lived up to that. Before I knew exactly what I wanted, I spoke to Tom Kelley on the phone who was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, without any sort of pressure sales stuff. They sent a detailed plan (actually a few options) after analyzing my solar situation, and were quick to revise once I decided I wanted to go even bigger.
Their communication was excellent throughout the whole process - explaining the paperwork and inspections needed (they took care of all that), and then keeping me informed

We bought our solar array from Northeast Solar (Hatfield) as part of the Solarize Belchertown group. Beginning with our initial contact with Northeast Solar and throughout the installation, the process was easy and straight forward. Zach met with us to size the system and explain everything. He made it very easy to understand. NE Solar took care of all of the paperwork with National Grid and the SMART program. The installers (Chris and Jeff) were great workers and very respectful. They did a nice job of hiding the electrical conduits coming down the side of the house. We highly recommend them.

Northeast Solar installed a solar system on my house three years ago and I couldn't be happier. The system has worked awesomely. It is paying for itself more quickly than I expected, and Northeast Solar is still monitoring my system to make sure it is operating properly after storms and power outages. I've spoken with numerous people at Northeast Solar over the years and all of them are knowledgeable, helpful, and super friendly. It is a great company to work with.

Northeast Solar was absolutely wonderful. We had them install solar panels five years ago and it was an easy and pleasant process. They are very skilled and knowledgeable; Rusty did an excellent job of informing us about the process, from details about the system to the ins and outs of the tax credits that were available. It was a delight to work with a small local business that is doing such good work. We cannot recommend Northeast Solar highly enough for all your solar needs!

Our solar system went "live" this past Friday and I need to say that this has been one of the best experiences I have had with any company. From the first informational meeting we attended through completion of the project, Northeast Solar communicated every step of the way. Questions were answered clearly, without tech-speak, their estimates were transparent, and we always knew when they would be on site and what they would be doing (especially appreciated during the COVID quarantine). We had a great experience with Northeast Solar from start to finish. Design work was done during spring/summer 2018, and the arrays went live in mid-September 2018. All the work was done professionally, and there was very good communication and feedback with the Northeast Solar team. It is now late July 2019 and the system has been exceeding expectations. No problems at all, I haven't had to pay an electric bill since March, and I'm well on my way to being net zero energy consumption thanks to this PV system. I would strongly recommend Northeast Solar to any homeowner looking to add a PV system
