I should have read his reviews. I had a poor experience with this company. Several broken items.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
This company treats their customer's with no respect. They break items and leave customer's paying to replace the items that the movers break. it takes the owner MONTH'S to respond to customer complaints and still never actually makes a true effort to replace or reimburse broken or missing items

Patrick Simmons, owner, used to be responsible and had a good company but over the past few years they are horrible and will hire anybody. His ethics have gone out the window. The last few monts have been pure hell. He has no insurance. The Secretary of State says his business as been SUSPENDED since 2010. Not to mention the Department of Revenue because he refuses to stay in compliance. A business that doesn't pay that doesn't report it's income is only a nuisance to the community. My neighbors received poor customer service and were refused a refund. Their items were broken & the owner has ignored all attempts of contact. Very unprofessional.

This company is shot! They are not even insured!! They moved my mother in law’s things and damaged 3 items and have been dragging on repairing it or paying her to get the repairs done. The apartments hired them to move all of us and they never cared about our belongings they would throw things and only worry about getting it done quickly even if it meant breaking things.

My friend used this company back in April of 2021. In the process of moving her stuff they broke some of her items and has yet to pay for or replace her items. It has been four months and nothing has been done. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They seems to not value your personal items.

Helpful Movers made moving so easy. They accommodated my needs, were professional and showed up on time. I cannot say enough great things about them. Everyone was so pleasant to work with and I would highly recommend using them for your move.

My family and I had a very positive experience with Helpful Movers. I dealt mainly with Stephanie before the move. She explained their policies throughout and checked in regularly. The move took two days, and the movers were just as friendly and helpful (haha) as could be. Ronnie, PJ, and Scott were their names. Good people. Prices were reasonable, and they easily accommodated a couple of late game requests. I recommend them without reservation.

They are the perfect place to call when you need things moved. Had a small job....compared to a normal move...and they treated me with respect and kindness.
Since it was just moving heavy items from the third floor to the garage, they worked with me to fit us in a soon as possible.

Steffa (sorry if I misspelled) worked with me from start to finish to make sure that everything we needed was done.

Patrick and Ron took care of the moving. Taking great care to move the large items down our narrow stairway.

We will definitely call them the next time we are in need.

Helpful movers was fantastic. They were very professional at communicating with me leading up to the move and the estimate they gave me for the move was exactly what the move ended up costing. The crew was very friendly, fast, and took great care with everything.

Patrick Simmons named his company well; he heads a team of truly helpful people who put customer service front and center in all their client contact. We had the pleasure of having Jess, Courtney and Erin come to pack for us, and Ron and his team to load three separate moving pods. It was amazing to see how quickly and efficiently all we owned was neatly and securely packed, and then even more quickly whisked away to be stowed onboard the pod. Unfortunately we had a bad experience with Helpful movers last week. A few weeks ago we had them quote a price for a local move. Their associate took pictures and agreed to a price. On the day of the move my wife was bouncing back and forth from the move site and work with me out of town when she was told that there was too much stuff and that they would be losing money for the agreed upon price. They subsequently asked my wife for more than 50% more than the original quote to complete the move. Having a new associate quote prices is not a valid excuse for the events that transpired.
