Legacy Architecture, Inc. enables our clients to live and work more sustainably by providing creative, timeless designs and exceptional professional services. We partner with building owners, homeowners, civic groups and municipalities who are drawn to our expertise in historic preservation, residential, and commercial projects.

Legacy offers an unmatched ability to listen to client's needs and generate a variety of thoughtful design solutions. We create enduring architectural solutions aimed at preserving the past, designing for the present, & planning for the future. The office of Legacy Architecture is located in the historic Eliza Prange House, constructed in 1923 by one of the founders of Sheboygan's famed H.C. Prange Company.

Jennifer Lehrke and her husband, Mark, purchased the building in the fall of 2014 and undertook an extensive restoration project to convert the building into four professional office suites and list it in the State and National Registers of Historic Places.

This Victorian mansion on the eastern shore of Elkhart Lake was converted into an elegant bed and breakfast. The project included providing the 7 guestrooms with their own private bath, converting a first floor parlor into the private owner's quarters, enlarging the dining room, and updating kitchen and restoring the finishes throughout.
Reminiscent of their east coast roots, we helped these home owners create a dream vacation destination for their young, active family and extended family. A rarity along the lakes, the large lot features a yard for sport and play. A combination of patios, covered porches, and three season rooms intermingle the indoors and outdoors and allow for enjoyment of the picturesque site no matter the season.
