The Metropolitan Furniture family has been in business for over 40 years in the greater Boston area. We originally started in Allston in 1966. We diversified our product line to carry a wide selection of bedroom, living room, and dining room furniture, in our beautifully-decorated showroom. We carry some of the most recognized names in furniture and mattresses: American Drew, Legacy Classic, Ashley, Coaster, and Simmons Mattresses.

Our family buyers continue to always search for the best buys and values in the furniture market. We shop during four international shows each year. Making certain to always find products coming from around the world. Today's fine furniture is built in The United States, Italy, Indonesia, South America, Canada, and China.

Went in looking for coffee tables, they didnt have much inventory to look at and no one on the floor to help with anything if you have questions like most furniture stores. There was a couple sitting at checkout telling stories the whole time we were in there.

Recently purchased a beautiful bedroom set. We looked at so many stores with disappointment but once we walked into Metropolitan Furniture we found the most unique set. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will stop by Metropolitan Furniture first before looking elsewhere for our next purchase.

I highly recommend this place. Alex was super patient and friendly when I hesitated between options. They considered my need and would not push to purchase expensive ones like most other places do. The customer service from purchase to delivery was fantastic.

Very nice furniture and this place is a locally owned business. The owner is very personable and gives you the attention you deserve as a customer. Delivery was nicely done also - showed up as promised and set everything up the way we asked. I would definitely shop here again and recommend to others.

Love that the staff wears their mask. From the moment I walked into the store John was helpful and patient. He took his time showing me all of the items I was looking for and working with me to get them delivered in a time that would work for my family. This place is awesome! John and Alex are truly top-notch people and there is a really family owned feel to this place. I needed a couch pretty quick and none of the furniture places in the entire area could get me one when I needed it. These guys got me the one I wanted in two days and it looked amazing with delivery and everything. I would highly recommend them they are just fantastic and have the wiggle room of a family owned place to make things happen! Go here!

We bought a house three years ago and had a hard time finding the right furniture until we stepped in Metropolitan Furniture. Terri, the interior designer, listened and understood our needs and concerns. She came to our house and gave us recommendations based on the inspection and measurement.
