SSS installed kitchen, bath, and mini-bar granite in my home. About a year later I wanted to replace my range and discovered the granite opening was smaller than 30 inches by just enough that a standard range would not fit. Upon contacting SSS I was told they measured based on my existing (obviously old) range. Ok, but aren't you supposed to be the experts? Would you not think someone would have suggested a standard opening in case I ever wanted to replace my range? I was also told that to grind the granite would be a "huge mess", could not be done without damaging the backsplash
