Spray foam expands up to 100 times its original size to fill every corner of your home's envelope for thermal insulation and air sealing. Certain spray foam types allow water to pass through it should there be any leaks letting you repair any damage easily.
Closed cell foam, or high-density foam, is often used for exterior and roofing applications. Closed cell foam insulation has an R-Value of 6.5 in. Builders often turn to high-density SPF when high insulation values and strength are needed. As its name implies, this foam has a denser structure than either of the other SPF types.
The ExpandoThane product is an expanding polyurea waterproofing compound.
