Bad customer service. I simply called to get a price quote on my restaurants short bar top. The guy was short with me right from the get go and asked me my budget right off the bat. Oblivious to what it might cost, I threw out a starting number. He then went on a rant and told me I was cheap and then hung up on me. I’m not cheap by any means. If my guessing number was insulting. Then maybe taking just a few minutes to educate me of the process and cost. Then numbers could change. I’m a business man myself, if this is how they treat all potential customers...

I have thought about a desk like this for over 10 years. My only regret is that I did not find Paul Dumond 10 years ago! He was terrific to talk to and work with to find exactly what had been in my head for all those years. The look and feel of my desk is like something that has always been with me.

Very good looking piece/executive desk. I trusted that the finish and function would be consistent with other custom furniture I have purchased from other craftsmen. I received an executive desk more than month late (despite our contract) and the size of the drawers (bank of 3 drawers) were so small you cannot reasonably fit a piece of paper, let along file anything or hold much more than a couple pens or a stapler in anyone of the 3. When I inquired about these issues (in one email) the response I received was troubling. In essence, because I did not provide a blueprint, these inadequate and unusable

I have several cabinets made by Dumond's Custom Furniture. Paul was thorough, detailed, and creative. He uses only the finest seasoned wood. His ability to take an extraordinary piece of wood and create an heirloom quality piece is why we had him develop the cabinets for us. The construction of these masterpieces shows his experience and attention to minute details of woodworking. The cabinets are made very sturdily - there's no thin slab of wood used - they are solid and meant to last forever.

Mr Dumond crafted a cedar clothing chest to my custom specifications, and WOW what quality materials and craftsmanship! It is absolutely flawless, and continues to be one of the nicest pieces in my entire household. I have also had the privilege of seeing much of his other work (tables, etc) firsthand at his beautiful shop in Montana. I highly recommend his work.
