Carefree Self-Storage was created in the late 80's by Alvan L. Schrader of Plymouth, MN. The first location built was the Blaine, MN facility followed by the Fridley, MN location in the mid-90's. The Hudson, WI facility was built in 2002 and the Rogers, MN location in 2005. We add to your convenience by having keypad entries, well lit common areas and lights inside every unit.
Carefree Rogers was built in 2005. The campus setting consists of both temperature controlled and standard storage as well as office, RV, boat storage, and beautifully detailed office spaces. Russ and Karie live on site to care for all of your storage and business needs. How nice is it that when you have an issue a REAL PERSON is available to provide you the customer service you deserve.

Stored some furniture and personal belongings here for over half a year, it really was carefree! After moving my stuff in, I basically forgot about it until it came time to take everything back out again. Easy individual access for the times when I did need to get in there. It gets dirty inside the units so I recommend putting plastic or thick sheets on the floor and covering everything you store. I didn't have issues with insects, spiders, or rodents. The owner is easygoing and personable.

My significant other rents space at the location. I've met the owner, who is very nice, personable and attentive to visitors and customers alike. (No Russian bots here, очень забавно)
Observations while on site: The location is easy to access and rates competitive. The area is relatively well kept and storage spaces clean. Having a second gate open to pull through with a large trailer would be beneficial but it is understandable as to why the second gate isn't open, for controlled access.
