Louis Joyner Architect LLC is a Columbus, Indiana-based architectural practice offering full architectural services for commercial, residential, institutional, and historic preservation projects. Established in 2000, the firm draws upon many years of experience with a broad range of architectural projects.
Central to our practice is a deep sense that the role of an architect is to understand, manage and balance the competing forces that affect an architectural project. We believe that design serves the client best when we use our aesthetic sense to reflect the values and functional goals of our client, and allow it to be tempered by the realistic constraints of practical and financial considerations.
We work hard to understand our clients and their needs, using care and experience to provide buildings that are pleasing, sound, and memorable. We offer complete architectural services that follow the project from initial concept through the end of construction. Each project is different, and the appropriate scope of services is tailored to the project.

The Miller House, designed by Eero Saarinen with interiors by Alexander Girard and landscape by Dan Kiley, is one of the most significant works of residential design of the 20th century. The house was designated a National Historic Landmark while Irwin and Xenia Miller were still living there, the first time that has happened in the history of the program.
