Ran out of oil overnight because we forgot to order oil… oops. And on the night it snowed! Bill came through with next day (morning) delivery and we set up an automatic delivery system so this never happens again - hallelujah! He was great on the phone, so kind and responsive. Their whole team is wonderful from the people answering phones to the ones delivering oil (Bruce) - Huge fans of Ken Duval Oil!

Had a new incredible heating system installed at my home with new fuel tank today. Early delivery of materials followed by professional technicians that have done a clean and well executed piping of the system. I am writing to express my gratitude to this company. To be honest at the time of my first contact, I ,wasn't, even a customer but I am now.
We heat our home with oil and have an outside tank. Its always something to worry about in the winter because the lines freeze.
My husband got sick and needed to have surgery, naturally my attention was elsewhere so the fact that we were facing two days of freezing weather and me with just a half a tank of oil, well you can guess my panic when I realized the situation.
I had already ordered from ordermyoil.com and they are pretty good at what they do but

The service technician that was dispatched to my house was very helpful the last 2 service calls.
The operator on the customer service line of things was not. He quite literally hung up on me without even a goodbye- quite rude. I called another local oil provider-much better custoemr service as well as they will they allow me to be billed with a net 30 days to remit payment (vs. Ken Duval who demanded cash on hand). This is a big benefit to the customer

Realized we were out of oil at 1pm on a Saturday when were going to have freezing cold weather the next day. The answering service got in touch with them and they were able to call someone in to get my oil delivered that afternoon! Great service! Very appreciative of them going out of their way to keep us warm! Thank you!

This oil co is really good. You can go online and order and pay. Oil comes next day and give you a discount for paying online. Have been using for over 8 yrs and never had a problem. They clean my furnace and do a great job and leave it spotless. Would not hesitate to use this company if you live on the South Shore. They have a website can look for yourself about their delivery area.

Ordered oil the night before they delivered to my town. But it was 6 min after midnight .
They ask how much in tank.
I answered EMPTY!
But apparently they don't even read it.
Called following day at 6 pm when they No Show.
Guy on phone told me ...
I THINK ITS RUDE YOU EXPECT ME TO MONITOR YOUR OIL!!!!!!
I said .. I NEVER ASKED YOU TO but I did order oil 7 hours before trucks left for my town and told you I'm on empty. I think it's rude you don't even look at questions required to order. Take my $600 but I'm in a freezing house 2 mornings later and now have to pay $45

Called on a Friday afternoon for a Monday delivery to Marshfield. The price was fair and the delivery man called me upon delivery since the oil was an early Christmas gift to a family member in need, so I needed the receipt for them to not see it. My family used Ken Duval for years so I called them for the delivery and they were very accommodating and friendly. as I said the driver was very pleasant as well.

We used for years. (10 maybe) They went to online system, 2nd or 3rd time ordering online & the fuel got delivered to the wrong apartment. We called them and they were rude & couldn't care less. We just wanted to see if they could bill the other apt, (they delivered there too) or even explain how the heck it happened- but they were totally on the defensive- we heard about how it was OUR fault. We were able to sort it out with other apartment- so that was good. The resolution wasn't even so much the issue for us as we know the other apartment & they're decent, it was

Called for service at 5:25 today. Received a call back from the technician saying someone would come by. It has been almost 6 and a half hours. I have called an additional 3 times and gotten no response. I have a special needs child who is sensitive to temperatures and have to work early in the morning. I would have gone to a hotel if they had said they couldn't make it over tonight. If this is how they treat existing established customers imagine how they'd treat you!

Worst service ever. Tech left tools behind, didn't run and efficiency test, clean oil burner or finish job. Called to have tech come back out to complete the job....same tech. Turned off gas to water heater which is separate from the oil burner heating. Called the office again to notify them that tech did this they assured that someone would come out to take cate of the burner.....no one ever came. the tech caught on camera egging our house.....worst possible service ever!!!! The are contracted burner techs. We are looking for a new company.

This place cracks me up......when i order oil they tell me it will be a few days and i have to pay the price that that day is ...BUT.....they just made a delivery and when i called to ask why i was charged more than todays quoted prices, they told me i had to pay the price for the day i called.....REALLY??? Seems like they make out on either end. I need to find another company. That is so ridiculous!

I have been a customer for about three years now and have not had any issues until now. Having noticed on Sunday that my oil tank was seriously low, and with a big winter storm on its way, I immediately called the office.
I got the answering service and after giving my information I was told that I could expect a delivery on Tuesday. We had oil delivered today and while they were speedy and ordering online is a huge plus and convenient! I can not believe how rude the delivery guy was! Ken Duval Oil is fantastic. They do not have a delivery min (you just have to pay cash or money order if less than 100gal). That's huge considering a lot of other places will not deliver less than 130/150. I've been in financially tight situation where I only could afford to pay $200 in oil to keep the heat on in the winter time. I'm glad that Ken Duval is accomodating and easy to work with, or else I would have gone weeks without heat (in January) inside my apartment.
