J&W did a great job fixing my garage apron, it was sinking after 40+ years. I picked J&W based on reputation and I'm here to help uphold it with a review-- My dad was in heavy road construction his whole life til he retired 15 years ago. I sent him some pictures. Experience was very positive. Prep-work was completed on day scheduled. The pavement work was completed 2 days later. The new driveway looks wonderful and the crew took the extra time to ensure the job was done right, as if they were paving their own driveway. They also did a great job on the cleanup afterward.

J&W Asphalt removed our old asphalt driveway which had a sunken apron. Did frost block repair underneath the front edge of the garage floor where the apron had sunk. Added base and graded the ground so that rain hitting the driveway and the water runoff from the gutters would slope and go toward the existing built in drain. Added asphalt curbs by the drain and by the sidewalk. Also replaced the water valve casting. My experience with J&W was very positive. We needed to replace and expand our driveway. We requested a couple of quotes from different companies, including one that we had used in the past and were pleased with. Based on their positive reviews on Google, I was pretty shocked that J&W also had the most competitive price point. We sent out quote requests on the same day and J&W was the first one to show up, first to call with detailed information, and first to send the formal quote. So far so great! Love our new driveway!
We've had some questions during the process but company representatives were very responsive and gave all the answers quickly.
The job was done much sooner then first expected which is great, as now I can enjoy my new driveway before snow will come.

We are happy with the work that J & W Asphalt performed. We had a tricky driveway and situation. They were creative in their problem solving and went above and beyond to make it work for us. They are professional on site. The only thing we felt they could work on is the communication on days that they were scheduled and not going to be able to make it. That's the only reason not a 5 star review. I would definitely recommend them!

J&W did a great job repairing our asphalt driveway apron that had sunk several inches. It looks great and the entry to the garage is very smooth. The team members were polite and friendly. They seemed to be having fun while they worked too. The cost was a good value and I'm glad that I went with J&W.

I do not regret choosing them to replace and widen our drive way. The professionalism that their crew showed as well as the skill and care they took with my property all A plus. Communication another plus as I knew the exact day they were coming out and what to expect. They had all the crews come out and put their flags down then they worked all day the first day with the owner actually coming out to check the job. Day two all day and then they were done! Yes, two days to remove, haul away, widen and replace a driveway properly. Even my neighbors came over to look at it. They left me with care

These guys are solid. Great job. I highly recommend their work. I was referred by a high school friend who's mom used to make us Totino's pizza rolls while we listened to Dinosaur Jr. in the rec room. He couldn't have been more spot on. J&W was courteous, generous and overall a solid company to work with. If you need asphalt, and I'm guessing you do if you're reading this, run, don't walk, to your phone and give them a call!

I chose J&W in 2016 because they are an actual paving company who also does sealcoating. I figured they'd have a higher level of understanding how to care for asphalt than a couple of guys from Craigslist. Their bid was a little higher though not as high as another asphalt company, and it wasn't enough to make a significant dent in my wallet. They were professional and worked efficiently.

We first contracted J&W Asphalt when my husband was president of a condo association and he hired them to repair cracks on several driveways throughout the property. They performed Infrared Repair ("heats") which was a cost effective way of repairing asphalt driveways. The driveways looked nice, and the homeowners were happy. We have since moved to a single family home, which is about 20 years old and has an asphalt driveway. Last year, the apron in front of our third garage developed a sink hole. We had a major sag in our driveway apron and another at the curb. J&W explained the logic behind their process of heating and adhering a new layer instead of tear out and replacement. It made perfect sense. Use the compacted and settled base rather than unpack it all and risk it settling again. Service was good. They followed up to check on things and even came back out to refill a crack. Apron still looks great 18 mos later. I'm hoping I don't need their services again, but will definitely call them if I do.

We allowed these people to bid on a large project for our complex. In return they spread slander and defamatory claims in addition to being 30% higher than the winning bidders. They were given a chance to correct their claims on record and refused to do so.
