Sam on their sales team was informative and responsive from start to finish and the installation team did an amazing job using and documenting all the lead safe practices to remove our old windows and keep our young child safe from dust. NOVA Exteriors did a fantastic job replacing an old wooden & glass door and an outdated storm door. It was a custom job because of irregular sizes and settling of my 85 year old house. Dave, worked closely with us on style alternatives and color choices. His experience was invaluable. Due to the current supply chain issues and Covid, it took a bit longer than anticipated to receive the doors. Nice door, but for $8200 I would expect nothing less. It's been one year this week since the installation and I'll never forget the owner, Peter Vlantis as the most obnoxious person I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. We recently chose NOVA Exteriors to replace three exterior doors in our home. Our salesman, Rob Wardach, made the process an easy one from the start. He explained options without applying the high pressure that often makes these kinds of experiences annoying. We had both a great sales and a great install experience with NOVA Exteriors. Sam Osta (sales) was flexible, patient and informative. He came by twice across the 6 month period it took us to decide and we never felt pressured. He matched the color of the new door to our exterior perfectly. We could have spent (wasted) time finding a cheaper deal, but we decided that word of mouth from someone we trust would save us time and money in the end. Nova Exteriors recently replaced our 43-year-old patio door, which was in terrible shape, with a ProVia Endure door. I have been working with Pete and NOVA Exteriors for a number of years. I was introduced to Pete when we needed some work done on our home in Vienna, Virginia in the early 2000's. In 2017, Nova replaced my roof on my single family home. They did such a great job (timely, professional, great work) that I asked them to look at a townhouse that I own to see if they could replace that roof (in 2018) since it was damaged by wind. They assisted me in getting the paperwork done to have insurance pay for the replacement and they were once again professional and timely. They did all of the work that needed to be done, including getting the drywall replaced in a bedroom due to roof leak. I have recommended them to others and received my referral award. A tree hit the side of my house in mid March 2019. At first it appeared to be a small job, only replacing the siding on one side of the house. It was then determined that the existing siding was no longer being manufactured, and all the siding would need to be replaced. Getting new windows and a sliding glass door was a daunting process, mostly because of the number of companies out there and not really knowing the difference between window types and if it's worth the expense. We had a positive experience with Kenny at Nova Exteriors when he came to our house for an estimate. Clearly they have been burned in the past and that is a warning: stay away. Find another contractor.

Had a very award and unpleasant encounter right from the start. The sales rep David was very pushy and unprofessional. His sales pitch started with "let's get the stupid questions out of the way first". Be more professional and use words like "simple" or "easy". He then kept pressuring me to use our insurance to cover the work. I explained to him numerous times I did not want to or I will consider it. They obviously weren't energy efficient and so I contacted several window companies to get a replacement quote. Rick from NOVA was pleasant and not at all pushy to deal with. We had a new front door and a new side door installed. Great price, easy ordering, timely delivery and wonderful installation. We could not be more pleased. It was hassle free. The door surround is nice, but the header was installed wrongly, with a backing piece that is too large and not shaped for the header - it just doesn't look right. After the job was done, I got a phone call that same day and expressed my dissatisfaction, but we had to call again to arrange for a consultation about the issue. We were then told someone would call to arrange a visit, after more than a week, they arranged a follow-up. The representative came by, but the owner emailed and said they would not fix it, but would give us a "courtesy" (i.e. partial) refund of around $100

We didn't end up going with Nova, but we did get a quote from them for new home siding. The salesman was nice enough, but the sales / estimate process took a long time and the price came in very high. If you are looking for expedient comparison shopping, maybe skip Nova. I can't comment on the quality of their work, of course.
