I had a green pool. They sent a technician to test the water and give an estimate. The estimate was almost $1000. I thought that was too high and called Cortez pool services and they had my pool clear again for $200. If you feel the estimate was too high, don't hesitate to shop around. You just may save several hundred dollars.

Working with this team to keep our pool clean and maintained over the last couple of years has been an absolute pleasure. After receiving horrible customer service following the installation of our pool by Blue Haven / Certified Pools here in Corpus Christi, I found New Wave Dave. Cody Aubrey and Amber are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. After having only had the pool for a little over a year the salt cell went out and had to be replaced. Extremely disappointed with this business. A saltwater pool should NOT grow black algae if it is being maintained weekly, correctly, and communication is being made about faulty pool parts. And then to terminate a customer instead of remedy the problem is absolutely ludicrous.
Having the "service manager" call after I've left the review is pitiful. I understand you have been told one side of the story and do not know the entire truth or maybe any of it. If someone isn't willing to pay for parts or chemicals then how is it that those charges are incurred anyway and that parts were replaced??? And

New Wave Dave is extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. I've had them come out and perform various maintenence and service needs. I've also called them with random pool questions and they always provide great advice and recommendations. They are very responsive and take the time to explain details to make sure I understand my pool system and any issues I'm having. When I have a pool question or concern, they the first place I call.

We have a large in-ground pool and separate in-ground spa. The plumbing is the old 1 1/2 inch piping and the pump and filter were over 12 years old and very inefficient. The old single stage pump died and NOW was the time to look at our whole system and UPGRADE/UPDATE to a more efficient pump and filter and pool Cleaner system. We wanted a system that would be less maintenance and keep our pool cleaner. New Wave Dave drained the pool, cleaned out the debris, power washed the walls, scrubbed the algae off the side walls that had accumulated and could not be removed by regular brushing, treated the walls with chlorine, and refilled the pool. They did a fantastic job. Aubrey and the guys were great to work with.

New Wave Dave is customer-centered and very professional. I feel like everyone I speak with really knows what they are talking about. We have had a couple of weird problems with our pool sweep and the guys from NWD didn’t stop until they figured out what the problem was and solved it (hint: a sweet three year old may or may not have shoved goggles into the sweep intake). NWD is reasonably and competitively priced. I would definitely recommend this company!
