Alex refinished floors in our house 3 years ago in 2018. He also added metal balusters to our staircase. He is the best contractor we have ever worked with. The floors have taken so much abuse the last 3 years from kids. They look great, the color that he convinced us to use is great. We recently had to redo our tiles and when we removed the flooring transitions we saw how brilliant his work is. A long reducer was cut in a way to combine a shorter one without the cut being visible. Two reducers were glued together to deal with a large height increase. Highly recommended as a long term

Allex installed black vinyl floors at my mother's house almost two years & we completely forgot about leaving a review until now. But I'm finally getting around to it because Allex was that good! Not only did he do beautiful work, he was super attentive and was able to get our floors done within the short time frame I had requested. He even finished ahead of scheduled. If you want beautiful floors at a great price, do yourself a favor and give Allex a call.

Five star job from Allex Floors. Not only did he repair my existing floor and match it perfectly, he had a fabulous crew who contained the dust and mess from sanding. Every evening they cleaned up. They put the flooring into my pantry closet and replaced all the saddles and moldings without being asked. Allex was a super nice guy, very hard working and honest. I would not hesitate to hire Allex Floors. Absolutely love the job he did. Every time I look at the flooring I smile.

Rarely one takes a chance on a company found online without referrals from trusted friends or family. I went against my typical decision making process and picked not the cheapest or recommended by other people I know, but purely on professionalism as shown via Yelp reviews, speaking on the phone directly, and the quickness a quote was sent to us.

Very professional and responsible. The process overall was very simple. Connected with Allex via Yelp and he was able to come to my house and provide a free estimate of the pricing for refinishing my hardwood floors. Pricing was very fair. When my husband and I purchased our home the first thing we agreed on was refinishing the floors in the entire house. We called a few different places for quotes but the moment we met Allex we knew we had to go with him. He was really easy to talk to and he was able to give us some good advice on the flooring. Stained the hardwood in my entire house in a beautiful consistent Jacobean color. Also found a few "creaky" spots on the first floor and went into the basement to give the floor extra support which stopped the creaking. Worked fast, returned my calls and got the job done in time. Allex Flooring blew me away with the work they did in my house. Alex was the first (out of 3) floor specialists that came by to provide me a quote. He was very thorough in explaining the process and left me documents and samples and also told me to ask the other contractors coming specific questions to make sure I was getting the best products/service. His pricing was the middle of the 3 I quotes I received. I also told all 3 of them that I was considering doing my stairs and rails and to provide a separate quote for that. The other 2 told me that do not do rails/stairs due to the complexity and

From the moment Allex started talking about flooding, i knew we didn't have to look any further. We just moved into our first home and the flooring was not of our taste. Allex, just by looking at the floor, already knew what was needed and also gave us information and the pros and cons.

Alex was wonderful to work with! We would definitely recommend him and Allex floors. We just bought a home in Westfield, NJ before the start of the school year and we were trying to get as much work done before moving in and he came through. He helped us stay within budget, walked us through our options, and kept us updated throughout the process.
We had carpet removed and hardwood installed on the top floor. We had carpet and tile removed and hardwood installed in the main floor family room. We had hardwood refinished through the rest of main floor (which had a lot of heavy scuff marks)

I recently purchased a condo in terrible condition for my daughter in Cranford. I was under the wire to get it together and make it beautiful in a short amount of time. I called Allex from Allex floors and he made a diamond out of a piece of coal. Not only is Allex talented but he is so easy and helpful to work with. Alex did amazing job! He came early morning with another person and spend an hour putting nylon sheets to protect everything drom dust. They sand the floor with 2 machines one main and another for corner. Then vacuumed and clean the place. The did 2 layers of paint - which I really like! And did polish in between. Price was fair. And I would definitely use Alex services again . Thank a lot! See the pictures attached.
