Critical: Professionalism, Quality
Paid to have my driveway sealed. The first time it rained I noticed the bottom of the driveway (approach) wasn’t sealed and other parts were done sparingly. Made numerous attempts to contact them with no response.

We used Juan and his crew at 4 way cement to do our driveway and a stamped concrete patio in our backyard . They were reasonably priced , pulled all the permits and finished on time as expected. Juan is very knowledgeable he knows what he is doing and very professional . His crew did clean work and were very polite and sweet. my husband had several questions and they were very patient in explaining the process to us both. Overall I am very satisfied with the work!

I made an appointment one week in advance to receive an estimate. The morning of that day I called to remind them that we had an appointment. Then I drove (25) miles to the site to meet someone. No one met me. The woman who answers the phone and schedules appointments keeps "bankers hours" and is incompetent, you'll see.

4 Way Cement is an awesome company. From the beginning, I was truly impressed. When Juan (owner) came to give me a quote, he broke everything down for me piece by piece, explaining what they would be doing and why they would be doing it. This made me feel very confident to make the deposit.
The job itself only took 2 days. His entire crew was kind and worked hard and efficiently to do a clean and honest job. My neighbor was beyond impressed. He watched from a far and made a point to call me to say "these guys took no short cuts whatsoever like some companies have in the past."

Great experience all around. Good communication. Fair prices (we got two estimates total). The crew was nice, worked fast, and the quality is there. Juan was very transparent - very detailed estimate.
We had a partial driveway replacement because water was flowing toward the house; now it flows away from it!

Juan and his team are fantastic. They were good about communicating with my husband and I in a timely manner from the initial contact all the way though the whole process. They completed an exposed aggregate patio for us, and it's exactly what we wanted. They were one of the only companies we contacted who would do work in Oak Park, and they were reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

4way built us a stamped concrete patio and portion of driveway in the Fall of 2018. These guys were very attentive to the details. Juan explained the patterns and colours, showed us examples of previous work and offered great suggestions. If I had questions he got right back to me. His team are some very skilled hard workers. My wife and I are thoroughly happy with the finished product. We will absolutely call them for other projects in the future.

An update on the stairs debacle and my interactions with the company thereafter:
I emailed and left a voicemail for 4 Way the day this review was posted. They called me back a couple of hours later to discuss the situation. Their impression was that the city had approved the plans, which included the stairs as they were eventually poured and flagged, so that meant final approval was a foregone conclusion, even though it had never officially been received. Our two green approval stickers certainly gave that impression. I don't know enough about city codes to argue either way. I get where they

After verbally committing to another company I had 4 Way come out for one last quote. I realized immediately that Juan was the right guy for the job. His professionalism and attention to detail was apparent the moment we started discussing my plan. Work was started on time and the crew showed up every day until the job was completed. Not only was great attention to detail taken on the project but the crew was sure to put back anything they had displaced in the yard during the day upon leaving. Use this company if they can fit you in. Juan and his team do a great job, super respectful of property and go above and beyond. I asked to save my grass and soil for use in another part of my yard. Much to my amazement, not only did they save it, they filled and sodded my low spot.

We are putting in a new front entrance and extended walkway in front/side/back of our home, and contemplating a new back patio/fire pit. It's a medium to large size job for our country home. We made arrangements for an estimate at their convenience, and my husband arranged and took off a half day of work to be home as they don't do evening calls. I sent our location, including exit number off of I-94, PRIOR to making the appointment, and confirmed our location to ensure that they serviced our area upon confirmation. 4WC replaced my front porch and added a patio to my rear porch. Juan and his team did a great job. The craftsmanship is exceptional and the job was completed in a timely manner (1 day to demo the previous areas and 1 day to build to the new porch/ patio).
Although the cost of the job was reasonable, the quality of the job far outweighed the value - especially since this was "foundational" work. I would highly recommend 4 Way Cement to anyone looking for cement repair or replacement. It's probably unfair to say that any other contractor would be a waste of your time, but after tasting

I had read the Yelp reviews & decided to give 4 Way Cement a call. From the very beginning, I knew we made the right decision! Our back patio was really awful! The previous owners of the house let the vines take over, and the wood was rotting when we moved in, and it had a built in gas grill that no longer worked. EWWWW! So, it goes without saying that there was a lot of demolishing to be done before they could even start! We asked them to include adding concrete steps to our front door in the quote & they were very reasonable. Juan and his crew did an awesome job!

4 Way Cement is excellent! Like many of us have done, I chose the wrong contractor and they turned out to be bad news. My driveway had been a sink hole of mud for nearly a month and there was no sign that there was intention to complete the work and do it well. After finding great reviews about them, I called 4 Way Cement. They leveled the area so the water would run away from the house, used long boards to create a strong and straight form, laid gravel and compacted it... all the things a professional should do. The City has been working on roads in the area and even their contractors said
