Would rate this company with more stars if I could. From the very beginning John and his team were very responsive and transparent about the whole project (how long it would take, when they could start, how much it would cost, etc.). They were very flexible with my shift-work schedule and their work was top notch. We love our new fireplace! I actually plan on hiring them in the future if I ever get the masonry work done on my home's exterior like I'm planning to do.

We hired Kelly Masonry to build a new set of stairs and garden bed retaining walls. Not only did they do an amazing job, but they were an absolute pleasure to work with.

John Kelly was a pleasure to work with. He was responsive, provided a quote over phone/email/photos, followed up with a confirmatory site visit, and then got me on the schedule WAY before we had originally anticipated. His masons were excellent. They ran into a bit of a surprise on the job (removing a fireplace mantel and chiseling down corbels), adapted perfectly, and were able to figure out an excellent solution. The job was done quickly, cleanly, and as quietly as possible. Overall, I was very happy with all my interactions with John and his employees as well as their workmanship.

They have even followed up subsequently to their chimney work on some additional work that was done by a roofer to make sure everything was done up to par. Fall 2019. We used John and the Kelly Masonry team to do a difficult water management project that was not easily understood before the project started. John and his crew kept applying their patience and professionalism and craftmanship until a completely useful and attractive solution was found. Yes we had a plan at the outset but the key to the success of this particular project was smart masons/mechanics applying their significant skills with flexibility towards a mutually understood goal.
