I hate moving. I moved from IL (South loop in Chicago) to South West Florida and Stevenson Transfer made this entire process completely painless. I had a 4 story home with years of belongings. I also have many high value items (over 20 guitars in my collection as well as other items ) that I adore and would never trust just anyone to move my stuff. We've all heard horror stories of companies holding items hostage until more money is paid to release them. Well, that was my biggest fear.
I scheduled and rescheduled a couple of times, mainly due to my changing schedule but they accommodated my changes

One of the best things I found about Stevenson Transfer is the fact that they will come pick up your furniture & then store it until you are ready for it. You pay for storage of course, but they take exceptional care of your furniture & boxes of belongings in the meantime. This all is counted as one move, so you aren't paying for the move to the warehouse & then again from the warehouse to your new residence. The employees from office to movers are all very professional & courteous. No wonder they have been in the business for several generations. I highly recommend them.

We used Stevenson Transfer for a local move and had a great experience. The crew was careful and courteous the entire time working non stop through thunderstorms, heat, and a power outage. We had a tight squeeze getting furniture into a loft area. They figured it out quickly. It was impressive to watch! We highly recommend Stevenson transfer to anyone looking for moving services. You won't be disappointed!

Stevenson Tranfer crew members were very courteous, attentive, and worked very hard to help us place our items where they needed to go. We had painting going on, and they moved around them. My husband and I would highly recommend this moving company!!!

This was the best group of young men who came and packed my house and moved me.. Unbelievable work ethic these 3 young men displayed. From the time they arrived at my house till the last thing was loaded onto their truck they didn't stop.. Thank you Mike and Angie for sending Brett, Brett, and Tyler they did a superb job..

Very professional, they took excellent care of my belongings. Moving is stressful, but their employees made me feel at ease with the process. Previous companies I've used have not gone to the lengths that Stevenson Transfer did to properly protect, pack, and transport my belongings. I highly recommend!

We needed help unloading heavy furniture from the borrowed moving trailer. They were great and made everything so easy!!! They knew how the pop the backs off the heavy recliner sofa and move it in so much easier than us middle aged ladies could have done. Worth every penny! We will definitely call them again when we need any kind of moving help! They were a dream to work with!
