Services
By its very definition, it represents something that has already been done. The art of designing in traditional styles lies in the creative and rearranged use of familiar iconic elements and details. We often assemble multiple traditional tones (from classical through modern) in a single building. This allows us the freedom to design without the shackles of a single style that could often dictate design details and solutions.
We have had the privilege to design more than 700 buildings, and residential work has been a very large part of that effort. This work is always rooted in our clients' wishes and requirements, as well as their aesthetic taste. We also have no project size limitations, maximum or minimum. Our philosophy starts with the design of the interior layout.
We have had the great fortune to design for many extremely successful, demanding and discerning clients, from captains of industry to celebrities. Several of our projects could be considered once-in-a career opportunities for most architects. As all residential design starts with the clients' requirements, high-end design is no exception and often takes that philosophy to the extreme.
This category of design requires the ability to design within the cues set by the existing building, and success is often the result of an intuitive understanding of the existing building and its unique flaws and features. This effort can range from creating an extension that conceals the seam between the existing and new elements, to changing the character of the existing design while using much of the existing structure for cost and value.
Having designed so many homes of various sizes, styles, budgets and locations, we are able to envision the widest cross section of best-selling features to create the most successful project for our clients. We firmly believe that good quality design sells homes and can be created with tight budgets as a relevant context.
