One of the biggest advantages of this this insulation is that it seals out air which means condensation can't take place inside your walls. This will prevent mold and mildew from growing to give you peace of mind. This is also great for insulating old structures. True North Insulation understands the nuances and unique challenges that come with working at old sites.
Blown in fiberglass is a cost effective and quick method of insulating the attic of your new home or upgrading an older home. It is a cleaner, more efficient, and less invasive process then having to roll out insulation. We add to, or install fresh insulation to the required thickness to keep your home insulated.
A blower door test depressurizes your home to find where any unsealed cracks or unwanted openings in your home. A blower door test can help you to. This safety test safeguards your home against any CO leakage from household appliances that can lay dormant in your home by testing the air pressurization throughout your home.
The answer to this question will depend a lot on where you live. The federal government has recommended insulation levels according to geographical zones based on the normal seasonal weather patterns you're experiencing in that given area. This is another one that depends on where you live. However, in most cases, the direct savings from using less energy is equal to the amount spent on insulation within 2-4 years.
R-value is the measure of thermal resistance in a building. Oftentimes, the higher the R-value, the better off a home or a building will be when insulated. The key is to make sure it is a high-quality insulation that works with air sealing for a completely tight fit. After all, if air can just flow around your insulation, it doesn't really matter how thick the rest of it is.

John and Sheldon were professional, experienced and priced better than other insulators in the Iron Range. In a addition after getting everything setup to spray our rafters John noticed an issue with the rafter vents not being inserted far enough into the soffit. Rather than continuing to spray John and Sheldon stopped notified us and came back out and sprayed once the rafter vents were fixed. One of the best business we have dealt with since moving here after retiring from the Army.
