Designer and Cabinetmaker, Peter S. Curtis, founded Curtis Furniture in 1981. He started the business with the concept to build quality, handcrafted custom furniture and cabinetry and to sell directly to the end consumer. While learning his trade in a small town in New Hampshire, he learned the cabinetmaking trade and the skill to build fine furniture and cabinetry.
Now, in our 2nd generation, we continue this trade and have become renowned within our community and beyond for our dedication, skills and affordability to design and build fine furniture and kitchen cabinetry for every home and every budget. Journeyman Cabinetmaker, Mark Curtis and Designer, Jessica Curtis-Priestley, have dedicated themselves to their father's tradition of excellence.

Born and raised in Northern New York, Peter S. Curtis began Curtis Furniture Company in 1981. He learned his trade in Epsom, NH and moved back home to begin his business.

My beautiful bedroom furniture was built by Curtis Furniture and right now we are planning my 2nd kitchen with custom cabinets. I really enjoy working with them and they are incredibly talented and caring to make the customer happy. They aim to please and I'm a very particular customer.

Great experience here. The business is family owned and operated. Jessica was very helpful as I tried to design a custom table for my Winnebago. She walked me through the different types of wood and stains. I brought them a cardboard mockup of what I wanted and they made it exactly the way I wanted. I just traveled across the country with it. I was able to eat my dinners and work all day on my new table. Thank you Curtis Furniture!

We had the folks at Curtis build us a custom oak cabinet with matching floating shelves and end tables. They matched trim and architectural styles already in our home, and built some exceptionally fine pieces. This family business was great to work with and the results are are just fantastic. The quality, workmanship and finish are superb. We are extremely pleased with our funiture and know it will last for generations.

My wife and I had Curtis Furniture make us a pair of cherry end tables. We walked in with an idea of what we wanted and the general dimensions, and they took it all down and had a set of plans for us within minutes.
We were so blown away with the quality that we went back and ordered an entertainment stand to match!
