When most think about driveway materials, tar and chip (also called chip and seal, seal chip, or macadam) is not one of the first things that come to mind. Concrete? Asphalt? Gravel? Pavers? Yes, those are the more common driveway choices. But just because you may not have heard of tar and chip sealing & paving before doesn't mean you shouldn't consider it.
Paving manages the entire construction process including planning and follow up. We excavate concrete and asphalt areas for remodeling construction or remove grass and dirt for brand new construction. We also install drainage structures and underground piping for new projects and correct draining issues at existing sites.
Rock Bottom Paving, Inc. resurfaces cracked or faded asphalt, repairing stressed areas and adding a layer of fresh asphalt. This can turn an unsightly area into an investment that will extend the lifespan of your driveway, parking lot, private road, or other commercial paved area. Where needed, we will correct the stone subbase underneath or use a milling machine to remove existing asphalt.
Jimmy gave me an estimate a few days ago to repave my driveway. I also called for a couple of other estimates. Rock Bottom's estimate was fair and in talking to Jimmy I came away with the feeling of confidence and that the job would be well done. Rock Bottom came today and completed the job doing an exceptional job.

We had gotten a couple of bids to replace and seal our driveway which was in great need of repair and repaved. I am so happy with the work that Rock Bottom Paving did to bring it back to life. This company was polite, sincere and very well trained in their field. Now I can look out the window and feel blessed that we found the 5 star business that brought our home back to life👍🙏

Rock Bottom did a Great job. I had my long driveway oil seal coated and repaired in many spots. the guys were very professional and thorough with the job.They took their time and paid close attention to detail. My driveway looks amazing, it had a facelift! I would definitely use them again and recommend them highly for any driveway.

When I called rock bottom paving on a Saturday morning, they had a gentleman come out to me that afternoon to give me a free estimate! I was very impressed with the rapid response time from this company. My husband and I discussed with Jim that we would like to expand our driveway to fit more cars as more of our children are getting licenses and driving. Jim took the time to mark out exactly what we wanted while paying attention to cable lines underground as well as our septic. I was so impressed with his attention to detail on the job.
