Pemberley Properties, LLC was formed in 2005 by Ken Mooney, a lifelong Atlanta resident. Ken has a legal background, graduating from Emory Law school with honors in 1998 and practicing law with Atlanta law firm Smith, Gambrell and Russell, LLP for seven years as a corporate attorney prior to forming Pemberley Properties.

We were so happy with the work of Ken and his team! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who asks. Ken was always very responsive and communicative with us through every step of the project, from the initial estimate to the final walk through. We so appreciated how straightforward, honest, and upfront he was when presenting options to us so we had all of the information when making a decision. The budget for the project was set up in a way that made it easy to understand and know what to expect. Our project was done staying in budget and did not take longer than we expected.

We worked with Pemberley Properties in early 2021 to renovate my mom's house. Ken was great to work with - always responsive and super professional. He listened to all my mom's ideas, our discussion, and provided solutions. We were always on the same page - what decisions needed to be made next, what was happening at her house next, etc. - great communication. Ken is a rare find in the industry.

Our house in Decatur, GA was built in 1991 and we moved in 2012. Over the last eight years, we have worked with several contractors on renovations and Pemberley Properties definitely stands out due to Ken’s communication, organization and work quality. Ken and Raymond are phenomenal! They were very responsive from start to finish and coordinated with their team to make our renovation as seamless as possible. From listening to what we wanted, to coming up with the design, to making it happen, they were top notch. The quote was competitive and scheduling was quick. I really can't say enough good things about our experience working with Ken and Raymond at Pemberley Properties. After a very frustrating experience with a previous builder, my husband and I were ready to walk away from our lot and call it a loss before we even started. Thankfully, we found Ken before we decided to throw in the towel. From our first meeting, Ken has been knowledgeable, straight-forward, and very easy to work with.
