Engineered quartz (not to be confused with Quartzite) is a manmade product created mostly from natural materials. It's made of 90 to 94 percent ground quartz and 6 to 10 percent resins and pigments that are combined into durable and nonporous slabs. Both Silestone and Caesarstone brands have engineered quartz ranges currently on the market, each with around 50 color choices.

I purchased granite from Bedrock in August 2019 and I would say looking back it was such a mistake. The guys that came out to install the kitchen granite broke a piece and didn't alert me. I did call customer service and they replaced it but it shouldn't of ever happened. I noticed that the way they cut my kitchen opening piece was also wrong. Overall bad workmanship and the dings in the walls only created more headaches.
