The father-son duo began working for Atlas Energy in southwestern PA. When Chevron took over a large portion of Atlas, Coontz Excavating remained proactive to the new systems and safety standards that were required. Thus able to grow and connect with many other major contractors in the Natural Gas industry today.
We have a wide variety of equipment, which enables us to do a myriad of jobs with the appropriate tools. We know that to do the job correctly, you need to have highly skilled, highly motivated and well-trained employees that believe in the same qualities that we do.
