Alternative Energy Southeast (AES) did an excellent job installing our 15 panels in one day and cleaned up after themselves. We had to wait awhile for our Tesla Powerwall due to a supply shortage at Tesla but that installation also went smoothly and now we are enjoying days with less than 50% of our power coming from the grid! It's early in the year and we look forward to pulling even less power from the grid as the daylight hours lengthen. We were completely satisfied with the work AES has done for us. It's still early in the ownership phase, but so far I'm very pleased. The initial cost was honestly higher than I expected, but even with conservative numbers, I should get an ROI within 8 years if you include the 26% tax credit that is currently available. The plans were very detailed, and the overall experience was very professional. My only complaint is that Georgia Power limits the net metering to 10kwh systems. Otherwise I would love to expand what I have. My rep was Aaron, and he promised that I would have the system up and running by the end of the year, and he was correct. He also spent

We worked with AES several years ago when our region started a community-solar project and picked them as the installer. We started off with a 5 kW solar array, which has worked wonderfully. After that positive experience, we were excited to work again with AES for Solarize Athens 2.0. They helped us almost double our solar roof array, and also added a Tesla Powerwall battery.

It has been a pleasure working with Alternative Energy Southeast on my solar project. They provided the most economical solution for me and answered all my questions. AES worked to expedite my installation so that it was completed in 2020. AES' installation team were professional and completed my project, the installation of 28 panels within 1 day.

These guys designed and installed a 34kW solar system with 10 Tesla Powerwalls, and moved and installed an older PV/battery system to a different building for us. They were great to work with, they cleaned up the work site, and they enthusiastically shared our vision of how things should look and work.
I didn't have to micromanage them, and they were great at communicating their schedule, problems they ran across, and working through solutions. Post installation support has been great.

So excited to have Alternative Energy Southeast install solar panels on our roof. These folks have been easy to work with from the fist contact to the site visit and explaining our solar options.
