Chimney Specialists is currently seeking a Fireplace Installer/Technician. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a motivated self-starter, with critical thinking skills, who has a background in the construction trades, electrical, plumbing, and finish work.

Called about getting my chimney inspected in early fall and was told I has to wait till spring. Then called for glass replacement for a stove they sell and was told there was a 6 to 8 week wait for glass yet I called "Woodstove fireplace glass" out of Illinois (not that far from dubuque) and they had it here in 2 days.

We had an existing wood burning fireplace. And Dubuque Fireplace & Patio did a fine job locating the largest insert that could fit and have a wall switch. It wasn't even a vendor they normally used but it all came together. They installed it and left no dust whatsoever behind. They did it on time. And they were quick to answer questions of mine.

We purchased a Lopi Freedom wood stove insert after getting quotes on several different models. The installers arrived promptly and inspected the fireplace. After installing a new stainless steel liner, they installed the wood stove insert. It took about half as long as I expected. They went over how to operate it and included a free moisture tester which I hadn't expected. I've already recommended them to several neighbors.
