I have to say it's been a journey to get our backyard fence up so I can get a 55' batting cage up for my boys that I purchase last October for their birthday and it's still not up (yet) a year later (though a few weeks to go)...
That said, I first had to take down a huge pepper tree that had over run the back yard to make room for this batting cage. The tree had grown into a county chain link fence that runs several miles. I hired a contractor to remove the fencing from the tree and then put up a white vinyl fence afterwards to block the back yard from the county arroyo

My experience with UFS actually started when I contracted with R&S Overhead Garage Door. I found out that R&S does not do residential gates, but sub-contracts with UFS for that work. OK, red flag number 1. After receiving a number of drafts from R&S for the gate design, I agreed, and got to meet the owner-to-be of UFS; Jose. I questioned him, we discussed the design, and explained exactly what I wanted, did not want. All good. The day of the gate install, all good, everyone there ready to move forward, right? Well... I'm totally skeptical about using companies that none of my family/friends have never used. However, after reading through many reviews for many fence companies, I called United Fence Services for a quote & ultimately chose them to do our fence. I'm completely satisfied with the work that was done, their workers were friendly & professional. Email communication was great.
Took 2 days to take down and rebuild 64 feet of fencing and add lattice. The end result was beautiful and they cleaned up completely! It was like they were never there, left my backyard looking better than before

LOOK NO FURTHER for a great iron fence/motorized gate!! I moved to Oakland a few years ago and chose these guys to put a fence all the way around my front and side yard, with a Liftmaster remote-controlled gate for the driveway. Robert did my estimate and managed the project; unlike almost all other contractors I have worked with, he was always on time, kept me informed, never "flaked" on me, and the project took exactly as long as he said it would (a huge plus when you have to arrange for a day off to be there for the work). Robert came over to bid on our project and stated 2 weeks max from start to finish, upon signing a contract. So far, so good. After some prodding, a contract was emailed, signed and immediately returned. After over a month of calling and asking Robert and Julie why the project was not being started, all I received was one excuse after another. After a month and many broken promises to begin working, Julie called to inform me it would take 3 more weeks AFTER the materials were ordered. What? I contacted them on Friday right after the storm and they were out Saturday to do my entire fence that they said would take 2 days and they finished in one day- these guys are awesome do excellent work, good quality material. Not only did the supervisor come out to look at the project so did the owner- great tema work guys, thank you I love my new fence
