Had Tod out last week to service my Subzero freezer. He was very stand offish and rude. He defrosted the freezer, said I needed a part. He didn't tell me which part was defective. He asked for a $50 deposit which I gave him cash. He only takes cash or check. I asked for a receipt he said he would email an invoice or estimate. I called him back no info on the part, no email. I am left without a working freezer and very poor communication. After reading the yelp reviews, this guy is scamming people. I do not want this guy to continue to take advantage of others.

Did a okay job installing although not the "best" but I also paid him to haul away the old dishwasher and he said he would be back later that day or the next. He never showed up. And left the old dishwasher on it's back in the middle of my kitchen.
He didn't return my calls, my texts or my email. I finally had to pay another person to haul it away.
I would never recommend Todd again!!

I would give him a minus if possible. He just took my $60 and never came back to actually fix my refrigerator. Saying he's ordering parts. Calling him constantly makes excuses for over a month now. Very disappointed. Don't hire his service not worth your time and money.

My refrigerator stopped cooling. I freaked out but Todd arrived, figured out what was wrong and fixed it in no time at all. He was so competent, friendly (even to my dog) and saved me a lot of money. I would recommend him to anyone/everyone. GREAT WORK!!!!

Todd was awesome. He is very knowledgeable and didn’t try to sell me a new part.
I do not understand the negative reviews. If I had seen them first, I probably wouldn’t have used him. But so happy I did. Give him a chance. He’s a good man.

This guy is a shyster, takes advantage of the elderly and completely unprofessional and NOT trustworthy.
He came to my moms house, said that the oven needed a part, took her $125 and never contacted her or was able to be contacted after numerous phone calls. Two weeks later, we were able to get an awesome company to help and he was here the next day.
Do NOT do business with this place.

Fixed my fridge very quickly and arrived promptly to the appointment. Called on a holiday Monday and he was at my house on Tuesday with my Sears Kenmore Pro fridge working great! Better service than Sears repair service, good price, competent and professional. Will tell all my friends about this local, honest repair service!

Was referred to The Best Appliance Guy by Idlers. Wrong! He came, charged $159 to repair 3 year old dryer. Receipt said "found bad rollovers causing noise in dryer, replaced, all is okay." Wrong within a couple of days the noise was back!
I texted and called because the noise was not fixed. I recorded the noise. SO loud! He never answered text or returned calls.
Having a new dryer delivered this Saturday. Don't waste your money and time on this guy!

Had a wonderful experience with this company. Not sure what all the negative reviews are all about. I called on a Monday and he came out on Tuesday and completely fixed our Sear Kenmore Pro fridge. I would not hesitate to call him again.

I wish I could rate Todd more highly--he is friendly. Unfortunately, after paying him $60 to repair my dishwasher, I had to chase him for information and status updates. He said he had ordered a part and kept saying he should have it any day and would return to fix the DW. After several calls to him (no calls from him), he finally admitted the part was unavailable. I don't even know if that is true. He said he could only accept cash or check when he came for 10 min initially. Now I understand why. It is $ just lost at this point. Called for repair on 36" Jenn-Air Professional Range. Todd arrived on time. A year prior I was told the parts needed were very expensive and quoted $500 - $600 for the repair. Todd informed me that the Jenn-air stove was actually another brand of stove re-branded with the Jenn-air nameplate. Todd was able to get the parts for a lot less than the Jenn-air branded parts. Stove works great now! Todd's work was half the price of the other quote. Would highly recommend!

I hired Todd to fix a Scotsman stand alone ice maker that was not working when we bought our new home. After three visits, two valves (said the first valve was defective) and $160, the ice maker is still not working.

Please, please, please do not have this man fix anything at your house because he probably most likely won't fix it and he just may break something else and cause your appliance to REALLY not work. Then "Todd" would never call back, lie, and ultimately never came back and here we sit with a washer/dryer stackable worse off than it was before he got his grubby fingers on it and broke it worse. BEWARE! Don't do it! You have been warned!

I called the Best Appliance Guy Los Osos, as our washer needed repair. I left a message and Todd called me right back. We set an appointment, and he arrived on time. He is a very pleasant and knowledgeable guy and fixed the problem within half an hour. He also looked at our other appliances and provided his opinion on each. The cost was reasonable, the service prompt, and we will definitely use Todd again. From reading these reviews, it seems there may be another the Best Appliance Guy in the area, as some guy named Bob responded to some of the reviews. Todd was great with us.

Todd WAS a nice guy. So I gave him the benefit of the doubt...even after being warned by friends who had used him in the past.

He came to fix my microwave. Diagnosed it, I paid him $60. He said he would come back with the part to repair it. It took ME calling several times to get him back.

He came back, showed up late. Had to reschedule. Then, he took apart the microwave and then realized he had the wrong part. Again, said he would come back. Again I had to follow up and follow up to get him to come back.

He came back a third time (its now been 3 weeks), and fixed the broken part. Unfortunately

Not sure why people have had such bad luck - great, reasonable price to come in and fix our fridge. He was super enthusiastic about ALL the appliances in our home, giving us tips for repair, care, and eventual replacement. It was like watching a master at work. He arrived an hour after we called which was cool, too!

I liked Todd's voice so I chose him. Yes, the automated phone-answering system is a little annoying ---but when we finally got in touch ( had to call him back several times while relaying to husband at work) it was good communication.
He was very sweet with my complicated Chihuahua and fixed the fridge right up.
This is the second household emergency I've had in a month and it's so nice to meet service -people with a good attitude.

Called a day ahead and made apt for the following day between 10 and noon. At 12:15 I called to cancel. What a joke!
So, just for kicks, call and listen to the "phony pretend to be technology advanced" answering service. Ha. I never got a courtesy call saying "I'm running late" only the apology for not showing or calling. Serves me right.... Should have yelped prior to calling.

I'm 100% pleased with the actual repair that was performed but disappointed about how phone calls are handled. Maybe they can get some help in that department and earn the five stars I want to give them! :-)

I had a dryer that stopped heating up. I called these guys and a young man came and assessed it. He didn't have the part so it had to be ordered. After a week or two it came in and when it did, he fixed my dryer and since then, it's worked perfectly.

That being said, I've called since then with a new request for help and no one ever called me back, which was disappointing
