In 2000, two short years after moving to Maine, Elizabeth decided to pursue her dream career of interior design. Starting off small she established a plan to offer affordable interior decorating services to busy professionals, aiding in making their homes beautiful, comfortable and inviting. Elizabeth has a passion and talent for working in customer service and takes pride in her ability to connect with those she works with.
Specializing in vacant home staging, The Style Home has the largest inventory of current home furnishings north of Boston, poised to stage any size home. We will service any area in Maine or New Hampshire. A staging proposal is an invaluable tool that walks the homeowner through the process of preparing their home to be sold.
I've been working with Elizabeth for years in real estate and always referred to her as my sure thing. Last year, I switched into yacht sales and took on a listing that wasn't getting any interest. Yes, I brought in Elizabeth in to stage an 80's 70 foot yacht! My client (and my boss) thought I was a little crazy until she knocked it out of the park!
The Styled Home by UpScale is a one of a kind furniture shopping experience new to Portland in 2019. In our warehouse showroom you'll find a selection of retired staging furniture from our Mother company, The Styled Home. As well as new furniture and selective consignment pieces, all changing weekly.

I recently purchased a sofa and 3 upholstered chairs (1 in leather and 2 in fabric.) The turn around time from ordering was much shorter than with other local stores, especially the sofa. I can't say enough positive about the furniture. The quality and value are excellent. I especially love how the cushions are spring reinforced as opposed to a typical foam cushion! (Foam cushions break down over time.) They provide great support and hold their shape when you sit on them. I also received a phone call to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my purchase. I highly recommend THE STYLED HOME by UPSCALE

I was blown away by the transformation from The Styled Home. They have amazing taste and were able to fill a vacant house to make it feel like a home. They were adjusted their schedule when I made a last minute change with no extra cost. I am so impressed by their talent and their professionalism. I will absolutely use them again in the future.
