We wanted to replace the carpet on our stairs and make them hard wood. We called several companies but AC Carpentry was the most responsive and gave us a fair quote for the work. They were very professional, kept us informed about the material orders, showed up on time and completed the job within the estimated timeframe. I would definitely call them again for house projects.

They were very communicative until they gave me the estimate, then I heard nothing. The estimate was 3x as much as the other two contractors I got estimates from and I emailed them to ask if they could give me a more itemized price to explain why/how they got to some of the calculations or at least just chat about it on the phone. I wasn't opposed to paying, but was curious. I understand that some contractors do not like customers asking questions, but blatantly ignoring them because they have some questions is a bad sign. I also didn't appreciate that the person who came out didn&apos

I had several things that needed to be done in my condo, i.e. dry wall work, new flooring, electrical, etc. He was very professional, set up an appt for review of the jobs needed, very timely in providing estimates and work was completed on time and to my expectations.
