Very disappointed with this company, called them about doing a few minor jobs about my house to prepare me for listing. I felt very rushed during the initial call after being told they are booked, ok no problem, the guy then went on to say “well, how big are the jobs?” I explained that they are very minor and listed a few of them. He said “Ok, maybe it’ll be a 1 or 2 day job, send me a text with your info and I will come out Tuesday evening (which would’ve been 11/3/2020), if you like the quote, we can move forward.” I immediately hung up with him and sent him my info via text like

He was not professional, spoke tooo much about his personal life and wasn't in time. Came out to do some handyman work and pressure wash the house and showed up and hour late with no call to me about being late wanting me to let half his guys stay and do half the work and he come back at some undisclosed time to finish the work. I said no thank you. Call me when you can come and finish the work all at one time. Haven't heard from him since. Got the work done by someone else for $200 less than he quoted.

Matthew installed my over the range microwave for my new home. He had to move some cabinets around and put in an electrical outlet. He did an awesome job! I have zero complaints about the job done. He charges a fair price for labor and he is easy to talk to. My only "complaint" is sometimes emails are not answered in a timely manner. Other than that, I will definitely be using Blevin's again for any house projects!

We hired this company to do some enclosures around pool equipment and AC units along with a small deck.
Communication was extremely difficult. Mateo came out and talked with me about it, but the quote he gave me was just unclearly written and had so few details. I trusted he knew what he was doing because of the high number of positive reviews on Google, so I went along with it. He didn't really give any options on when he would come out. He just told me when he would come out, and even then, he showed up a day or so early when I wasn't home.
The worst part though was the quality of the enclosures

Has done a few things in the house (owner hired him) Mateo is always very nice and works quickly. Very personable. My only complaint would be that he will say a time and is always late. However, dealing with maintenance my whole employment career, I understand that there really isn’t a way to know exactly when they will be done with the previous job. I would just prefer a text or call to say running late. Other than that small thing very very very good.

This was by far the best handyman company we have ever had. Mateo is an excellent installer and tiler. He did a wonderful job on our bathroom. He answers his phone to you, or gets back to you that day if you leave him a text. He arrives when he says he is arriving at your house, and I really can't fault him with anything. He and his work colleague were very friendly, kind and approachable. They are very hard workers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to people, or have them do work for us in the future.

I am a Realtor in Tampa. My 80+year-old home sellers were abandoned by their local flooring company who installed new vinyl flooring in their home which BUCKLED due to faulty installation.
