Chase Building Movers
Chase Building Movers is a family-owned business that started in 1962. We specialize in raising and moving buildings, whether residential or commercial/industrial, old or new, throughout Maine and New Hampshire. We use the latest in house and building raising and moving technology. Our experience and track record will ensure that your house, building, machinery, barn, or historic structure will be raised or moved damage-free to your new site.

We are continually upgrading our skills to stay on top of industry changes so that we can meet the needs of our customers. In addition, know that we are fully insured. There are many reasons you might move a house or other building. Your quiet neighborhood has been ruined by a noisy highway - keep your dream house but have it in a better location!

For those in a flood zone, you can preserve your beautiful home by moving it to a dryer location. For those with only a crawl space under the house, raising the house and putting a basement underneath will dramatically increase your living space - and the value of your home!
Services
In 1962, after many years working as an apprentice, Reggie Chase bought the business from Roger Batchelder. Moving buildings isn't a skill one can go to school for - it's one you learn from those who have mastered it, and you pass it on down. When moving or raising a building, it has to be done right the first time.
Chase Building Movers have a comprehensive list of services to Our professionals have moved houses, public buildings, historic buildings, office buildings, commercial buildings-even an entire town-through every sort of terrain. Moves have ranged from a few feet to miles over roads straight and winding in rural settings, residential neighborhoods and central business districts.
What are the reasons you move buildings or houses? Structures are moved for all kinds of reasons. It may be because they sit on land that is being developed, are historically significant and fall in the path of highways, railroads, reservoirs, or urban renewal. Sometimes a move is made to rescue a structure and relocate it to an area where its value is increased.
