The Nelson Stark Company is well known for its expertise in construction projects of any size. The company was formed in 1993 with the merger of Nelson Excavating and Stark Plumbing, two well established companies with combined experience of over ninety years in the construction industry. These related activities create a unique opportunity for scheduling and provide a cost effective alternative to multiple subcontractors.
In 1928 a German plumber by the name of Frank Stark immigrated to the United States. After working for various plumbing companies, he opened Stark Plumbing in 1940. The company concentrated on residential plumbing for nearly twenty years. Looking to diversify in 1961, Stark Plumbing joined the Local 59 Plumbers Union with the intention of growing the commercial construction side of the business.

The Nelson Stark Company specializes in all aspects of commercial and industrial plumbing. Our capabilities range from major hospital projects and research facilities to commercial developments and automotive plants. We have extensive experience in all traditional plumbing systems as well as medical gas and acid waste.
In order to maximize our efficiency and create extra schedule float for the general contractor's we opened a 10,000 square foot pre-fabrication facility. This facility allows us to construct carrier banks, plumbing drops, and other repetitive tasks in a controlled environment. These systems are fabricated as soon as the submittals have been approved and the appropriate measurements can be confirmed.
